Madame Alexander Dolls

There are not enough nice things to say about this beautiful doll. Elise has lovely shiny brown hair in its original set. Her coloring is fantastic. She has beautiful highly blushed all original facial coloring and a lovely all over tone to her skin. Her body is free of an cracks and and would be perfect if not for a stain on the back of her right leg. She was stored with an extra pink hat with pink flowers and I think the pink flowers must have. Color to her leg. It is really hard to see with her stocking on but when you take them off you can see the mark. I do not have a lot of experiences with Elise and most of the dolls I have had have been ballerinas. This Elise has a body I have not had before and she is made like a Cissy with a metal bar running through the middle and legs that can not be removed. All the Elise dolls I have seen before have had hollow bodies without the metal bar so I wanted to mention this because I found it to be very interesting. Elise comes in a beautiful pink dress made of a shiny polished cotton and with a beautiful texture to it. The dress is in excellent condition with no stains, holes tears or odors. The dress has a lovely bouquet of flowers at the waist that still look new and are absolutely beautiful. Under her dress she has a beautiful pink lace slip with nice tight stretch to the elastic waist. The only thing missing is Elises bloomers. She came to me wearing a girdle so for whatever reason the little girl who owned her changed out her underwear at some point in time. To me this is the only evidence this doll was ever played with as everything else seems really minty and in unplayed with condition. She has on nice stocking with no runs that I can find. Elise wears beautiful sliver spike heels with nice stretch. To finish off this outfit is an absolutely perfect pink cloche straw hat. The pink color of the hat is vibrant and it has not aged a bit. The flowers are excellent as well and match the dress perfectly. All together this is one of the prettiest Elises I have seen and she will be a stand out in your collection!
