COMES WITH THE HOOP SLIP, SILVER SHOES (WORN), NYLONS AND MATCHING VELVET STOLE. SHE HAS A RING ON HER FINGER AS WELL AND EARRINGSHER HEAD IS A BIT LOOSE AND COULD STAND SOME TIGHTENING. This listing is for the 1957 Rare Alexander kin “School Bell Rings At Nine” #383. It can be seen on page 98 of P. Smith’s “World of Alexander-kins”. Wow this is a fantastic doll and outfit. This darling blonde bkw has a beautiful blonde triple stitch wig that is nice and tight to her head with lots of shine. She has bright all original cheek color and a lovely overall matte complexion. Her walker does work but she was very loose and I did have to restring her legs. There are not enough nice things to say about this outfit. I will start with her beautiful purple dress which has white rick rack around the neckline. It is in excellent minty condition and which is evidenced by the extremely crisp bright tag. The dress has no stains, tears, holes or odors. The pinafore is outstanding and has a a beautiful shine to it. It has a bright white background with a vibrant pattern of butterflies and pink flowers. This pinafore is just perfect with no stains, holes, tears or odors. Under the dress Wendy wears a beautiful pink organdy slip and matching pink satin bloomers. Both of which have excellent stretch to the elastic and look almost new. Her black side snap shoes are mint as well and are in fantastic condition. Lastly she tops off her outfit with the correct straw hat with pink flowers. It is a beautiful hat but the only part of this outfit I think shows some wear. The flowers while beautiful are not as pink as they once were and the straw seems to be a little delicate. Overall this is a near mint doll in a fantastic rare outfit that will not.
