Madame Alexander Dolls

Hello, This is a stunning 18 Composition Wendy Madame Alexander doll wearing her full original outfit and green original two sided attached clover wrist tag on her left wrist and cluster of original flowers hanging from her right wrist. I have run out of room for pictures but tried to get everything in the 12 that I thought were most important. She has never been out in public before and is fresh from a Georgetown estate. She is all original. Starting with her hair it is a brown mohair with a red or pinkish tinge to the color and is in its original style, thick and full. Her facial paint is near perfect and bright, with strong brows and bright blush. She has red lips with a few white dots but generally all the paint is there. Her lashes are full and her eyes open and close fine. She has blue eyes, please excuse any glare that is in the eye from the sun. She has facial crazing but no cracking. The crazing is a line down the middle of her forehead, over the bridge of the nose, beneath eyes and on chin area and over mouth. Her body looks very nice with all fingers and no cracking that I can see. She has surface dirt on her body and you can see some surface dirt on her upper body, below neck. She has bright red original knees. Her stringing will need tightening and she cannot hold poses. Starting with her dress, it is a cream color with a white stripe through it except the bodice is just a solid cream color. The short ruffled sleeves have the white stripe through both. The dress and sleeves will need a pressing. The dress has a pink flower on the bodice and a pink flower midway down the dress by the tier, both original. The pink flower on the bodice is pushed to one side and will need to be straightened. The dress goes into tiers and there is a muslin slip attached underneath that separates the two tiers. It is floor length. The dress displays well but it needs to be pressed due to storage over the years. It is very wrinkled, especially on the back. There are some stray small marks near the bottom of the gown, with very small dirt marks. There is a very small pink mark near the bottom on the front of the gown. There is a few small surface spots near the bottom back that feel a bit harder in texture. In general, with a pressing I think you will find this dress displays very well and with a careful cleaning will probably remove many marks that you see. The small pink mark on the front bottom hem might be permanent. I do not see any tears or rips to the gown. Underneath, she wears original under pants and original flat shoes with ties. The sole of the left shoe is missing but otherwise there is no visible wear to the shoes. The tag on the back of her neck is written Madame Alexander New York U. The green clover wrist paper tag is original and printed on both sides. It is complete but has some wear on the edges and a slight bend to the bottom. On her right wrist there is a cluster or original flowers that is hanging with the original tie. She has a necklace on that may have been added. I do not have the box or any other pieces that may have gone with her, everything I have for this particular doll is shown in the pictures. I can see she has not been played with but any problems are due to age.
