THIS DELIGHTFUL SET OF QUINTS WAS RE-CREATED BY MADAME ALEXANDER DOLL COMPANY IN 1998 AS A 75TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION. EACH OF THE FIVE DOLLS, YVONNE, MARIE, ANNETTE, CECILE AND EMILIE, ARE DRESSED IN THEIR DIFFERENT COLORED LITTLE FROCK WITH MATCHING BONNET. THEY EACH COME WITH A GOLD TONE WRIST CHARM WITH HANG TAG. THEY HAVE NECK LINERS IN EACH BOX TO HOLD THEM IN PLACE. THEIR BONNETS ARE TIED WITH RIBBON AND THEY WEAR WHITE SHOES AND SOCKS. THE DRESSES ARE COTTON WITH GINGHAM BOW AND MATCHING BUD TRIMMED BONNET. EACH BABY COMES WITH A GOLD TONED HEART INSCRIBED WITH THEIR NAME. THIS SET IS SET HOLDS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART AS MY GIVEN NAME IS “ANNETTE MARIE”, TWO OF THE QUINTS NAMES. AS I HAVE A DUPLICATE SET ON DISPLAY, I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL THIS STORE STOCK SET. This charming Kate Greenaway doll was the centerpiece doll for the 2006 MADC Williamsburg convention Lets Talk Dolls event. Very hard to find, in her pretty pale pink dress with white accent trim and white straw hat she looks like she just stepped out of a Kate Greenaway illustration. Limited edition of 75 dolls. This doll was briefly displayed behind glass and does come with her wrist tag, box and paperwork. She is in mint condition. From a non smoking home.
