Madame Alexander Dolls

She has a walking style body like the others in the Me and My Shadow series. She has be blue eyes, VERY long thick eyelashes, nice even two stroke brows, and soft pink cheeks. Her shiny blonde hair has curled under bangs and soft curl clusters at the nape of her neck, all nearly flawless and in original set. Her crisply tagged gown is slate blue, soft taffeta with elaborate silk braid and loop-trimmed panniers on her hips and bustle drapery down the back. She has lace trimmed tulle sleevelets, and netting stockings. She wears a light cream, taffeta, loop trimmed petticoat with a hoop that accentuates the bustle in the back, and attached lace-trimmed pantaloons in fantastic condition. Her shoes are lovely with almost flawless fuzz still on the soles. Her original lace hat is a light cream with original flowers and original pink satin ribbon that ties nicely at her chin. Her original pink velvet handbag is in nice condition, and she also carries a white and gold Madame Alexander hat box also in lovely condition. She is really a very lovely doll from the desirable Me and My Shadow Portrait series, and comes from a smoke and pet-free home. Look at the photos carefully and ask questions. Absolutely fantastic example of this 1955 Cissy blue tulle bridesmaid. She has the most gorgeous face, her hair is perfect, her gown and headpiece are perfect (with exception that I just noticed of a tiny spot on back of skirt – never noticed it till taking photos). She is all original with panties and shoes and the original tulle wrapped bouquet which is usually missing from this doll. I have collected Cissy for 32 years, and this is the only example of this rare accessory that I have ever seen.
