Madame Alexander Dolls

Listing features a vintage 1950s Madame Alexander Cissy doll and tagged coat, dress, slip, earrings and panties. Doll is in good used condition with the following items to mention. Some missing left lashes. Head tilt – needs restringing. Possibly a bit of sun fade to face. Coat and dress are excellent as far as intact and needing no repair but do have some very light spotting which I tried to capture. Elastic in slip and panties stretched. Doll wig is in excellent original set condition but probably needs cleaning. Doll body is in excellent condition with no noted other issues. Princess Elizabeth is Madame Alexander’s 13 doll from 1937. She is wearing her entire outfit which is all original. Her hair is in its original set with barrettes on both sides of her hair and she is wearing her original crown. She is in very good shape for her age. Her dress closes at the back bodice with two buttons and the slip with attached panties requires a safety pin as a fastener on the back neckline. The dress is in very good shape but having said that it does show some wear as far as the flowers aren’t as perky and there is some light soiling near the dress hem in front… There are some mends on the dress and one of the buttons is chipped. I did not take her shoes off because I have done that with other dolls and the snaps have broken. There is a little separation at the top seam on the back of the left shoe and her sock is a little raggedy on the left foot but again I didn’t want to undo the shoe to replace a sock which is still very presentable. The label attached to her dress clearly identifies her as Princess Elizabeth. We live in a smoke-free home.
