Madame Alexander Dolls

Here, for your consideration is one absolutely gorgeous Madame Alexander 1957 Cissy doll, in her original outfit. This Cissy is beautiful! Her face paint is vivid, her eyes are blue and have all their lashes. Her rosy cheeks are lovely. I see no cracks anywhere. Her body coloring is even. I picked the ones I thought would give you a good view of her. Cissy is dressed in her original Bridal outfit named “Satin Train” from 1957. This wedding gown shows off a full gathered tulle skirt. The satin bodice is decorated with a thick trim accented with silver threads. A pleated Satin train cascades in the back of the dress. She also wears a chapel length veil with a coronet of flowers. She wears an under slip, which the elastic has stretched out and is pinned to hold it up. Her high heel shoes are in a plastic bag and will come with her. They look to be in good condition. Cissy is wearing her original pearl earrings, but on one side, the little teardrop is missing. She is wearing a pearl necklace and I believe it to be original to her. Her beautiful little head seems to be a little loose, but is attached. I just noticed, in the first nude picture, her hair seems to be parted a little and you can see that in the pictures. Set of Madame Alexander Dionne quintuplets complete with nurse and furniture. Identifying mark – raised lettering that reads: Alexander. Complete with painted white furniture. Crib, playpen, highchair, low potty-chair, and a scooter. 13 Composition nurse with no identifying to labels or marking. Has very sparse light blonde human hair wig, glued to head. Head has very light crazing and has three relatively large cracks and one small crack around eyeholes. Green sleep eyes (tin), with one eye opening with sparse lash, the other good. Body in relatively good condition with some crazing, thumb paint chipped and feet with damaged toe areas. Appears to be wearing cotton nurse outfit and hat. (#1) Quintuplet – Composition bent limb baby, with molded painted hair. One eye has paint loss and head has very light crazing overall. Body is good but needs restrung. Wearing original cotton taffeta short dress, bib that reads embroidered in pink Emelie. Complete with slip and original diaper, missing bonnet. (#2) Quintuplet – body in good condition, except face has major crack through center. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, booties, and bonnet. (#3) Quintuplet- in overall good condition except right arm, shoulder has small crack through paint. Wearing original bonnet, dress (no slip), diaper, booties, bonnet, and bib embroidered Annette. (#4) Quintuplet – Composition in good condition except for toe rub. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, bonnet, booties, and embroidered bib with Cecilia. (#5) Quintuplet – Composition bent limb baby in relatively good condition, except for small crack under nose and two cracks extending through center of lips. Also, cheek area with paint loss. Wearing original dress, slip, diaper, bonnet, and bib embroidered Marie. I have tried to describe as best as possible. This set is coming from a personal doll collection. No pet non smoke household.
