Madame Alexander Dolls

1950s Vintage 19 Madame Alexander Cissy bride doll. She has hard plastic head with jointed vinyl body. Jointed at the neck, hips, knees, shoulders and elbows. Original tagged wedding gown, original veil and nylon stockings. There is a tear in the back of the veil fabric and the top of the veil is missing a few decorative flowers. Also some tears in the fabric of the gown in back. Her hair is very nice in its original set. Nice face with good eyelashes. One eye appears to be looking to the side. I have not removed the dress to clean it. She is in original gently played with condition. From a non smoking home. Please try to submit questions early. From a recent estate sale here in the Dallas area, here’s a very cute Sweet Violet doll by Madame Alexander. The doll has blonde hair and sleep eyes. She is wearing five pieces of clothing which include 1 a lavender coat, 2 the hard to find white dress with purple details, 3 under pants, 4 hat with flowers and 5 a pair of shoes. She is missing her socks and does not have her muff. The lavender coat is tagged in the back as shown in the pictures. The bonnet is purple velvet and has its original flowers and pink ribbon tie. The dress is in excellent shape with no stains or rips. The dress is not tagged. One of the purple shoes is missing the front flower. The face is similar to Cissy and Binnie Walker. The doll measures about 18 inches tall. The doll is in excellent lightly played with condition. There are no splits or marks on the face or body. She works as expected. Her coat is tagged.
