Madame Alexander Dolls

Vintage 1940′s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 21 Bridesmaid Doll. I believe she has the Wendy Ann face. This Bridesmaid is in very nice condition. She once had a crack on the side of her head (by her ears), but it has been professionally repaired and you cannot even tell it has ever been repaired that is how well it was done. The top layer of paint on her right leg has some deep crazing (shown) this is not a crack, just crazing of the top layer of paint. She is truly an exceptional doll. She has beautiful face color with bright blue eyes! She has very, very faint craze lines on her face. Her all original outfit is tagged Madame Alexander. Her dress appears to be very nice with no damage or stains, it has a few tiny pin size holes along the bottom, not noticeable unless searching for them. Her hair is in very nice condition with matching flowers. Overall, she is just lovely and even more stunning in person. F rom an Odor Free home. From a recent estate sale here in the Dallas area, here’s a very cute Sweet Violet doll by Madame Alexander. The doll has blonde hair and sleep eyes. She is wearing five pieces of clothing which include 1 a lavender coat, 2 the hard to find white dress with purple details, 3 under pants, 4 hat with flowers and 5 a pair of shoes and socks. She does not have her muff. The lavender coat is tagged in the back as shown in the pictures. The bonnet is purple velvet and has its original flowers and pink ribbon tie. The dress is in excellent shape has some light age stains at the top of the dress which I think will clean up, but I have not tried to clean the dress in fear of damaging it. The dress is not tagged. The purple shoes have their front flowers. The face is similar to Cissy and Binnie Walker. Her hair is in lightly played with condition and her eyelashes are in excellent shape. The coat and dress have their original buttons. The doll measures about 18 inches tall. The doll itself is in played with condition with one split one the left wrist, one slit at one the right elbow and chipping on the back of the upper legs. The purple coat has a few snags to the fabric on the back left side which are visible in the picture. There is also a tiny mark on her nose. She works as expected. Her coat is tagged.
