Here’s an enchanting vintage Madame Alexander Cissette doll from the 1950s. She comes wearing a lovely tagged Madame Alexander Cissette Melinda gown which is from 1969. She also comes wearing her original crinoline, panties, hose, replacement high heel shoes, vintage straw hat and vintage beaded choker necklace. Shoes have pretty little rhinestones. Her dress is gorgeous with layers of pink ruffled lace and a flower with pink satin ribbon at the waist. Ties in a bow at the back. The sash has a faint spot on it but is easily hidden when the sash is tied in a bow. I added the beautiful 1950s vintage hat. It’s not original to the outfit but looks very lovely with the gown. All of her clothes and accessories are in very good to excellent condition. Her lovely face is somewhat pale with lightly blushed cheeks and coral lips. Her eyes open and shut. Her brown wig is very pretty and in its original style. Her body has bent knees and is in excellent condition. Her stringing is perfect and she displays beautifully. Some of the photos show a couple of stray hairs across her face. These are just fly away hairs from her wig, not scratches. If you have been dreaming of a gorgeous brunette Cissy with “that look”, this is the one! She’s a coveted, hard to find updo brunette. The picture of feminity, she wears a spectacular soft pink halter gown, embellished with seemingly endless delicate tulle, tiny pink pearls and flowers. A matching satin underskirt completes the look and supports the tulle lavishly. A tulle stole gently caresses her shoulders. Cissy has original taffeta laced-trimmed panties and vintage hosiery, with vintage strappy white sandals embellished with little pink bows. I’ll include a little 50s style lucite purse I’ve made just for Cissy. This ethereal beauty has wonderful features with high color blush, sparkling clear turquoise eyes and full lashes. She has that classy brunette updo with curled bangs and tie backs that was found on Cissys dressed in cocktail wear or evening gowns. Swarovski crystals adorn her ears. Cissy has just had a day at my spa and has had her blush refreshed, as well as some very well done, stable, split repairs at both hips. After all, we girls sometimes need a little help to look our very best ; In all honesty one really has to search to find the tiny repairs, because when she’s standing they nearly disappear into her leg socket. Madame Alexander 1950s vintage 20 Cissy doll Red tagged dress Jacket Hat Muff. Im not sure about fabric names. This is shiny, but sort of stiff fabric. I see two tiny pinholes. One in the bodice near a seam. One in the fold of a skirt. I only saw them when I held this to a bright light. They are very tiny. Like an actual hole made by a pin. Here is an early painted Cissy doll with great original coloring. Her only real need is to have the curls put back in her blonde wig. She has gorgeous blue eyes, all of her brush lashes, and her skin tone is even. She has no tears to her vinyl arms and no splits in her hard plastic. She has original blush on her hands, knees and cheeks. Her sleep eyes open and close, and her joints all work well. She has rubs on her eyelids, but when open are not seen. There is a strange spot on the left side of her torso near the buttocks where it looks like something plastic or something of the same color as the hard plastic was dabbed. I have no idea what that is, but she had it when I got her. Her arms are strung well. She has the typical light rubs at the tops of her legs. Her head will bob when moved, but is poseable and stable, I believe. Her wig is nice and full and shiny, but is lacking its original curl. I just don’t have time to work on the hairdos any more. She will be a nice display doll once the hair is put in order. Cissy will come to you in an oversized pink terry cloth bathrobe (see last picture). Smoke-free home and offered to USA BUYERS ONLY. 30 MADAME ALEXANDER PLAYPAL SIZED TIMMIE TODDLER DOLL – VERY HTF. This listing is for a very hard to find Timmie Toddler doll. She is the 30 inch sized doll and would be a great addition to any Playpal type doll collection. Most often you see the smaller 23 inch sized girl – this girl is big enough to hang out with Penny and the rest of the gang or with big sisters Joanie and Janie! Her eyes are the flirty style eyes that move side to side as well as open and close. Her lashes are great with maybe literally a couple of lashes missing on her left eye (pictured – hard to see). These dolls seem prone to that as well, but hers are really pretty good! Her facial coloring is wonderful. Her hair is very silky and in the original style and, i think, the original bow. Her hair is a very light blond. Her body had some fading that is common to the Madame Alexander playpal style dolls. You’ll see it on her chest, and on her legs. She does have the speaker for the cry feature and she still does kind of “cry” sometimes, but it’s really just a noise and nothing more. You can also get her to “walk” some, but it is difficult, i think. All joints or stringing is good. I think her one leg may be a tad shorter than the other? She is marked on the back of her neck ALEXANDER DOLL 1960. Her head is difficult to move. She could use a gentle cleaning. Her clothes are original and in good condition. I felt like when i took them off, that they really had never been removed before – the tissue is still in her sleeves to puff them up. The clothes are in wonderful condition. The TIMMIE TODDLER tag is on the inside of the outfit. There are no holes or stains. I did replace the elastic in her bloomers. I’m not sure about the shoes – they are, at the very least, vintage. This listing is for the beautiful Sleeping Beauty doll in her original box with tissue paper! Only issued in 1959 and rarely found in this 20 size. I have decided to part with her as I just haven’t been able to display her as she deserves. Sleeping Beauty is in beautiful un-played with condition. Her outfit is in excellent condition and I believe retains all the original accessories! Doll is stunning, beautiful facial coloring. Clear eyes, clean body with no cracks or splits that I can see. (I will not remove her clothing as I do not think it’s ever been removed) Her stringing is good, arms are the one piece type, not jointed at the elbows. Her hair is bright and maintains it’s original set beautifully! The heavy slipper satin dress has begun the fading process which happens to these dolls but the affect is actually kind of pretty! I do not see any issues or markings on the dress. She has her full slip underneath as seen. Original crown has been wrapped in it’s own tissue paper and appears to be mint. Necklace and ring are original and I assume have never been removed. Her beautiful lace cape is present and i don’t think it’s ever been removed either as the tie under the chin is solid and does not look to have been altered or undone. Stockings and gold heels are present and minty. Tissue paper pieces include bottom box layer, a small wadded section which acts as a pillow for her head, the piece which protects the crown, and 2 folded sheets which cover the entire top of the doll. Original cardboard insert is also present. Box shows aging and wear. Several of the corners along the bottom are split but the upward corners appear to be sturdy as they don’t collapse or buckle. Lid is missing one side lip as seen. Original sticker on box is stamped SLEEPING BEAUTY. Original wrist tag still attached to wrist. It is foiled on one side as seen.. Both sides are quite beautiful!
