For your Collecting pleasure. FABULOUS large, 13″ tall, “Susie Q”, labeled , label is trimmed at seem, “Susie Q/Madame Alexander, New York. Stuffed cloth character doll by. Side-glancing (googly shaped) eyes glancing to the side and. Felt and cotton outfit complete with matching felt shoes with spats. This sweet faced, early cloth doll has her original yarn hair beneath her original white bonnet with trim. Has blonde hair with scalloped bangs and long braids. She has a comical expression, molded pug nose, long eyelashes and rosy cheeks. She also has molded flat feet to stand and mitt-shaped hands with separate thumbs. Susie has red striped legs. She wears her blue cotton. Dress with pleated skirt and attached white organdy petticoat and panties and white felt collar beneath her fitted yellow felt jacket with blue felt covered buttons and white felt spats with three button closures over her black felt shoes. She is in very good condition with no stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. In addition: we have included an original and very RARE, Norcross, N. “Susie Q”, illustrated gift card box (8 1/2″ x 8 1/2″) with one original illustrated gift card. This is a darling vintage 1955 Madame Alexander Alexander-kins. She is plastic 8 tall and in over all clean exc/nm condition. She is a string straight leg Walker. She has uniform coloring throughout. She has all original face paint. She has red lips, bright clear hazel sleep eyes, molded lashes, painted lower lashes and well defined brows. She has a tiny minuscule rub on her bottom lip. Her right eye brow is faded on one end. She has thick shiny blond hair. Her body looks great. I see no scratches, scrapes, cracks, etc. Her limbs are tight. Her arms want to stay in the down position. She is marked Alex on the back. She has all of her fingers and toes. She is wearing a lovely outfit. She has a tagged blue silk dress with matching panties. She has a crisp pink gauze lace apron, white felt hat with a velvet flower accent and a tagged light pink cotton coat with 2 secure buttons. There is a tiny seam separation on the right arm. I also have a 1955 Madame Alexander booklet. It includes a lot of the fabulous fashions for the Alexander-Kings and Wendy for that year. Scarce Madame Alexander 7.5 Doll Wendy+Plastic Mount in Original Box 1957 #1885. From a large Madame Alexander dolls & Accessories collection. Once again an opportunity to own a good doll. Condition is excellent except that the short leg warmers are mothed, as shown. The box is not in great condition, large side is undone on one seam, the lid is broken on all 4 corners, box will not be flat packed. Her eye mechanism is tight, but you can open and close her eyes with the assistance of your finger. I have added some extra images, face close up and back of the head. This is one small error in the description above, no stand with this doll.
