Beautiful Binnie has high face coloring, no rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Factory styled wig with lots of curl. Walker mechanism works fine. There is a thin 1.5 seam crack on left side of lower leg which looks to be a factory flaw, as pictured. Original tagged dress is in nice, clean condition. Just a pin head size faded brown dot that is lost in the pleat on front of the dress. Dress and pinafore have all their buttons. This is a vintage marked hard plastic Madame Alexander Winnie/Binnie walker doll with a Cissy face. The doll measures approximately 18 in height. The walker mechanism works well. The original wig is in good condition. The face paint is good. The lashes are full and the eyes are clear. The HP body is in good condition. The clothing is all original. The red dress is tagged as shown. The coat may be faded, I can’t say for sure as I don’t know what the original color was. The rest of the clothing is in very good condition with no holes or stains. The doll has no unpleasant “sour” HP odors and the doll is from a nonsmoking home. All sales are final. Circa 1955 Madame Alexander Binnie Walker doll with original outfit. She has her original skull cap wig in good condition. She is wearing her original outfit which is a pink heavy cotton sleeveless dress, tagged, and her rhinestone and flower trimmed cardigan with matching pixie cap. Underneath her dress she wears a lace trimmed taffeta slip and matching panties. Cloth with good elastic. She has rayon socks with pink trim, a few small holes in them, and center snap shoes. The doll walks and turned her head with ease. There is overall wear on doll, she was played with, and her outfit shows age. It has not been laundered. This lovely Madame Alexander needs some TLC. She has a small nose rub and her lips need touching up. There is a little rough part on the side oh her head just above the neck. Her tags were falling apart so someone had a very inventive way of saving them! She needs a general clean. As do her clothes. She is missing her socks and shoes. I have the button that is missing on her jacket. Im making her sound very bad but she makes a gorgeous appearance. She just needs a little help! Her green eyes make her! I added a VINTAGE “MADE IN JAPAN” TAGGED “PEARL” NECKLACE with ORIGINAL METAL LOBSTER CLASP—the only necklace this longer length that I have ever seen! Perfect for This Lady! I designed OOAK MINI-PETITE “PEARL” BRACELETS made from MARVELLA PEARLS to be worn on either side of a NEW “DIAMOND” BRACELET. Miss Binnie carries a OOAK MINI-ROSE & LILY BOUQUET made by yours truly from imported parchment florals—IN WHITE & PINK & BLUE HUES! MISS BINNIE HAS BEEN RESTRUNG but not too tight SO SHE HAS EXCELLENT HEAD TILT & LOVELY “LIFTING” ARMS. THIS BEAUTIFUL BLONDE CISSY BINNIE IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE LIKE HER IN MY COLLECTION. I make no claim that she is “mint”—SHE IS NOT MINT—SHE DOES HAVE SOME SIGNS OF “AGE” as mentioned earlier, repairing her by filling cracks and reinforcing the stress point at her knee and across her bottom. She also has a few small marks (like little dots) on her arms between her gloves and sweater, and minimal “rubs” at hip joints, with a few tiny “nicks” on legs—she has ORIGINAL PINK KNEES! As far as I can tell her dress has not been washed—the fabric appears to have original patina and texture and fits well but not tight—this fabric will shrink with washing as it is 100% cotton. She has been on display in my SMOKE FREE, PET FREE DOLL ROOM protected from sunlight & temperature extremes. I can send you additional photos upon request.
