The outfit has never been removed from its original box and is in excellent condition. This outfit was made in the United States and is a wonderful addition to any doll collection. VERY FEW OF THESE WERE MADE.

Madame Alexander Doll Company #398, #399 Tyrolean Boy and Girl Boxed VGC – The boxes do have some retail price labels and other minor issues (please see photos) but overall are some of the best we have seen over the years. The dolls and contents are excellent. Both Dolls have the base and stand, the girl has the tags and a catalog, and a nother small paper. The boy only has a very small golds colored tag as shown in photos. Both boxes have the internal doll retaining cardboard. Overall a beautiful set. From a non smoking collector home. This doll was made in 1963 only. She is a BKW – bent knee walker. Her very dark hair is almost perfect. She has blue sleep eyes which flutter. It is so cute. Her facial color is perfect. She is wearing pale blue taffeta panties with white lace trim, white socks and white suede-like side -snap shoes. Her slip is sheer white fabric with white lace trim. Her dress is the same white fabric, is sleeveless and trimmed with white lace – two rows at neckline and three rows at bottom of dress. There is a light blue satin ribbon around her waist which ties in back. It is tagged Wendy-kins – Madame Alexander. Her white bonnet is made of the same fabric as dress and has 4 rows of white lace trim. The blue ribbon ties under her chin. There is a pink rose and some small blue flowers on left side of her bonnet. She is a bit loose but holds her pose quite well. She is in an Alexander box. Her walker still works. For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1957 Pink Toreador outfit which consist of black velvet pants with gold waistband, lacy blouse with a sheer pink blush lining and rhinestone buttons, and the pink sash. All are original vintage items in great condition. I didn’t seen any tags but the outfit is an original boxed extra item and one that is hard to find. Top is so pretty. The lining is soft pink flesh tone on the blouse. Two little tiny speck near the buttons. I didn’t try to get off, minor but wanted to mention. Pink cumberband is original. For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1958 dress for your Cissy doll. I believe it is one of the boxed extra fashions. It’s a soft light blue dotted swiss shirtwaist in very nice condition. It is made of light blue nylon flocked dotted fabric with flocked dots and has a lace trimmed camisole bodice. Lace trimming around the collar, puffed sleeves and down the button up bodice. Classic quality doll dress from Madame Alexander for your vintage Cissy doll. There is one tiny pick hole in the ruffled skirt and a very small fray at the bottom of the placard. I’ve marked the area in the photo’s very minor. I’ve taken lots of photos for you to see. This is outfit #376 of 1953 and one of the first 8 Wendys. She can be seen in Pat Smith’s World of Alexander-kins on Page 14. This Wendy is a SL- straight leg non walker. Her back is marked Alex. It is hard to believe she is 63 years old, and she is so precious. She is a blonde and her wig is triple-stitched. Her facial color is very nice and her sleep eyes work well. Wendy is wearing white organdy pantaloons, a half slip with lace at the bottom hem, white socks and white side-snap shoes. Her pink and white check cotton dress has small white rick-rack trim and it is very full. It has whit satin ribbon straps over the shoulders. She is wearing a white cotton pique jacket which has a flared peplum, cotton lace trim, and ties in front with white satin ribbon. There is a slight stain on the left side of the skirt which may come out. It hasn’t been laundered. I have shown it in the pictures. It isn’t too noticeable because of the fullness of the skirt. The hat is not original, but it is cuter than the original – at least I think so. It has a chin strap. I have included a picture of the original. Other than the stain on the skirt, I see nothing wrong – no rips, tears, holes, etc. She is in an Alexander box but it is not her original. Smoke and pet-free home.
