Her eyes open and close. She has fine crazing allover. The shoes miss half of outsoles. Her head feels loose, the doll might need to be restring in the future.

This vintage straight legged Madame Alexander Wendy-kins doll comes with a variety of outfits. The pj’s, robe and evening gown are all one of a kind, handmade by my mother. I received this doll as a birthday present in early 1950′s. She has been cherished for many many years. Don’t miss out on this rare offering.

MADAME ALEXANDER-KINS 8 DOLL Bend Knee Walker WENDY & Trunk VINTAGE 1957. This Brunette Wendy is simply adorable and has those rare dark eyes and hair. There are no splits on this doll and her walker still works. Her clothing is in good shape but could use a little clean up as well as the doll. Her wig has a little spot on the back where it shows through, just due to how it was originally glued. Her outfit is original as shown in a photo of a reference book I own by Patricia Smith called, Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls. She’s in pretty nice shape but could use a few touch ups. Rare Madame Alexander 8Little Genius #47 Christening Clothes & Pacifier VGUC. Vintage and very good condition Alexander Little Genius baby doll. 8 with wool wig and blue sleep eyes. Wears original lace trimmed diaper, original tagged christening gown with full length slip and bonnet. Wig is in great condition and face color remains high. I have never undressed her. Doll stand included, that is why she is standing. This was a Christmas gift when I was 5, which was over 6 decades ago. She is extremely hard to find and valuable. She is in good condition, but may need some cleaning. She has a brownish color wig (still has bobby pins where the previous owner redid her hair style), sleep blue eyes, hair lashes (all present), rosy cheeks, red mouth. She is all hard plastic with joints at her elbows and wrists and at her knees. She is wearing a tagged purple coat, purple velvet purple hat, tagged pinkish dress, matching panties, net slip, knee high hosery, velvet center snap purple shoes. When you move her legs, her head moves. I don’t see any cracks, but she does have a few small scratches. She does have a very light odor. Not for the mint collector. I try to make sure my items do not have loud offensive odors, but your nose may be more sensitive than mine. Beautiful vintage Madame Alexander 18 inch doll approximately 1937 – 1942. This well cared for Scarlett O’Hara doll from the movie “Gone with the Wind” is in excellent vintage condition in her garden party dress, with original pantaloons, hooped slip, shoes, socks, and hat is in great condition. She is composition doll and her composition is in excellent condition without any cracks, or repairs. Her green eyes open and close, she has eyelashes, eyes are very cloudy. Her stringing is slightly loose. Her painted features are all present. Her hair is original and is in good condition and has original tiny bobby pins. Her outfit is original and tagged with “Scarlett O’Hara”. I could not find pictures of this particular doll to compare the dress but the dress is tagged original. I have owned the doll for 47 years. I did not list much for quite awhile, as I was his caretaker. He and I were great collectors of many things. Please enlarge all pics and study them carefully, they are your best discription. This beautiful Elise has been with me a long time. She has all original clothes, and the shoes are vintage, but I do not think original. Dress of pleated organdy, double slip of organdy and satin or taffeta? , with matching panties, white stockings and veil, which is damaged on the bottom as pictured. The floral headpiece is really pretty. The sleeves have stretched elastic. She has her original brunette wig. She has bendable limbs and can hold a pose. Her right hip joint seems stuck, and will not let her sit. Her arms could stand to be restung, but ok as is. She has no cracks. She is marked on her head and back and has a label in her skirt-slip. She is about 15 1/2 tall and I will include her stand. She has been packed and displayed in glass cabinet, so could probably use a little cleaning, but not dirty. This is one I will miss for sure. Please give her a good home. Please remember just how old these dolls are and played with. They may come with little marks, shiny patch or something minor. If I see anything obvious I will say so.
