This is a darling Madame Alexander 8 doll. She is Wendy Dressed for Spectator Sports #578. She is a hard-plastic bend knee walker doll from 1956. The outfit is clean and there are is no damage to the felt of the coat or the beanie. The tag from the outfit was cut off at some point. You can see the remnants of what would have said Alexander-kins at the top back of the coat. Her walker works well. She dons black fuzzy-bottomed shoes in fantastic condition. This is the 20-21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. She is coming to you in a handmade lingerie suit (not pictured). She does not have earring holes but with her very fulll wig you can rarely get a glimpse of her ear lobes. I warn you, Cissy can be addictive, at least she is for me, I love them! This Cissy is one I got from Susan Wells Roberts (Pearlsgirls). I totally trust that Susan has given the thorough gone over with the Cissy’s, she is absolutely amazing with them. Susan is another master at restoration when it comes to these dolls. This Cissy has an excellent body. I have trouble getting her left leg bent all the way at the knee. It bends about half way for me. I have shown in my pictures that Cissy has a few marks on the neck. You really can’t notice it especially if wearing pearls. Her face is sealed with a matte sealer, not done by me, came this way to me. She has beautiful blush and a tremendously thick wig. The more I look at it, I believe the torso has had a bit of applied body makeup in an attempt to cover the scratch marks on her neck. I haven’t done anything to her, only enjoyed displaying her. She has the sweetest face!! Cissy has beautiful clear eyes that are nicely set. Eyes that are not both focused on the same thing is one thing that drives me crazy if my dolls have it and this girl has beautifully set eyes. The stand is not included. I can find no evidence showing that to be untrue and her wig is still in basically the same style. I washed the back of it and it brought some shine back in to it. In my pictures the light is shining on one spot so that spot looks a little bright on the right side but that is only the light. I do not have a light set up for taking pictures and unfortunately fall took away much of our sunlight. I tried to take pictures so you could see for yourself because I don’t have any other info to give you. She does not have earholes. She is a real cutie and I think she would look great in nearly anything. She is coming with Madame Alexander vintage heels and I believe the lingerie was made by Donna’s Creations. It does have a zipper closure. She does not have a box or stand. She will be well packed in a box big enough to give her lots of cushing around. Just Exactly How Cute Can One Maggie Get? Pretty cute, according to THIS little gal. She’s wearing her tagged 2 piece cotton floral skirt & white organdy blouse. Rhinestones are sprinkled on the waistband & front of the snap-closure skirt, and the tagged blouse has lace-trimmed puffed sleeves & closes at the back with two buttons. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no holes, rips or tears. This near mint ensemble has velvet trim to match her tam, buttons at the front and appears to have never been on a doll until these pictures were taken. Underneath Maggie wears cotton panties with lace trim, and on her feet are her original socks & center snap black shoes. Maggie is beautiful, with lovely features & coloring. This is a fabulous strung 1953 first year Madame Alexander-kins Doll. She is in beautiful minty condition with original blonde wig in original set, excellent high face coloring with brown brows, medium blue green eyes that open and close freely, black under lashes, bright pink cheeks with no scuffs or touch-ups and bright red lips. Her body is in excellent tightly strung condition. Alex is wearing her tagged Alice dress, organdy pinafore, Alex undies, excellent fuzzy bottom shoes with rayon socks. Dress is in excellent clean condition. Great 1953 Alex-kins which dont come around often with this wonderful coloring. Hair bow has been replaced. Comes from a smoke free home.
