Madame Alexander Dolls

I have a very pretty 14 Madame Alexander Bride Doll in excellent preowned vintage condition. This doll was manufactured I believe in 1952. The tag says’Wendy” but the reference book I have says “Margaret face dolls were made from 1948 until 1956 and the face was used during this period on dozens of different dolls so I would say she is a Margaret face. She is wearing a lace trimmed satin gown with rhinestones on the bodice which is a little wrinkled from storage and there are three small snags on the back of the dress see Pic. She has her original veil which has a few tiny holes from age See pic. #8 and the original flowers on the head band. She has her original wrist tag and a bracelet that was added and a bouquet that I added. There is a small spot on the back hem of the slip and she has a slight plastic smell. She has all her eyelashes (her eyes stick a little) and she is also wearing her original hose but they do have holes in both legs and her shoes are a little soiled from age. Her hair is a blonde color and is in its original set but a little messy in the back which is covered by her veil. She comes with a very well home made extra wardrobe that consists of four outfits and they come with vintage clothes hangers. This is a wonderful Madame Alexander Bride doll to add to your collection but I just want to make sure I mention everything which I think are minor for her age, as I don’t want any surprises to the new owner. Madame Alexander Anne of Green Gables Doll Trunk Wardrobe Set Extra Accessories. Beautiful Doll Set that was never used, just collected, box kept. The doll has it original packaging and comes with extra outfits hanging in the trunk along with another pair of black shoes, hat, schoolboard that may be wrapped in the pink tissue paper? (did not want to open as it original), collector registration/card and hanging tag on her wrist. Although plastic packages are not sealed, contents were not removed and photos show both sides of the plastic for viewing. (They appear how they were originally placed in the bag) The accessories can be found in the trunk 2 drawer compartments. The trunk is in great condition and comes with another original box that everything was stored in as well as protected. All may have normal wear due to age and storage. This is a beautiful collectible doll from a classic story – Anne of Green Gables. Like any used/new product, there may be wear & tear due to use, age, storage and cleaning/washing. For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1957 Pink Toreador outfit which consist of black velvet pants with gold waistband, lacy blouse with a sheer pink blush lining and rhinestone buttons, and the pink sash. All are original vintage items in great condition. I didn’t seen any tags but the outfit is an original boxed extra item and one that is hard to find. Top is so pretty. The lining is soft pink flesh tone on the blouse. Two little tiny speck near the buttons. I didn’t try to get off, minor but wanted to mention. Pink cumberband is original. For your consideration I have this stunning vintage 1958 dress for your Cissy doll. I believe it is one of the boxed extra fashions. It’s a soft light blue dotted swiss shirtwaist in very nice condition. It is made of light blue nylon flocked dotted fabric with flocked dots and has a lace trimmed camisole bodice. Lace trimming around the collar, puffed sleeves and down the button up bodice. Classic quality doll dress from Madame Alexander for your vintage Cissy doll. There is one tiny pick hole in the ruffled skirt and a very small fray at the bottom of the placard. I’ve marked the area in the photo’s very minor. I’ve taken lots of photos for you to see. The doll limited edition 140/150 marked on her lower back. Original Blue bird outfit 140/150 which included the dress, shawl, hat, shoes, pantyhose and a pearl necklace. Madame Alexander 13 1965 Alice in Wonderland Doll, Trunk and Extra Outfits. Alice’s shoe needs a little repair, please refer to photo’s. The trunk is in excellent condition, the ribbon used to tie her in is unhooked on the right side, otherwise in great shape. Here is a pretty Cissy doll by Madame Alexander who was made in approximately 1960. She stands about 21 tall and is made of hard plastic with the one piece arms that some Cissy dolls have. Cissy is dressed in her pink fluffy tulle gown which is tagged , and she has her original Cissy panties, slip, shoes and gloves. Her hair is a strawberry blonde or reddish color, it seems to be close to the original set with a bar at the top. She has a few issues, there is a split on one of her lower thighs which is reinforced but not repaired, where her neck swivels there is a felt cushion that is not original, please see the pictures, also her vintage pink velvet hair bow is replaced, and the two under layers of tulle are replaced but the top layer showing is the original. The dress is made of cotton organdy with layers of tulle over the organdy which is intact with one reinforced 2 hole inside. Also her flower decorations are original, but her circle rhinestone earrings are replacements to match her originals, she does come with one of her original earrings, which will be sent along in her package. This Cissy doll has really pretty clear eyes with lashes, the lashes have a small nick on one side, please see the photos. Her high heels have light pink elastic which is cut and tied around her ankle to tighten the fit. She makes such a pretty display, the tulle on her dress is so soft, very delicate and beautiful, I believe she is supposed to have a ring and some bracelets, but she has a replaced ring and only one bracelet which is not original but looks pretty.
