They don’t get much nicer than this! Kelly is in mint condition with tagged dress and hang tag. High color cheeks, no rubs or scratches. Blue sleep eyes with all their lashes. Her hair is in the factory original set and even still has the factory original styling gel with original pink hair bow. Crispy clean clothes, no stains or holes. I put tissue paper under her dress to flare it out. Pink taffeta underwear with matching half slip, both with good elastic. Original fuzzy side snap shoes and knit socks. Rare 12 Edith The Lonely Doll limited edition felt doll by Madame Alexander #41425 from 2005 based on the Edith character in Dare Wright’s classic book The Lonely Doll. The photographs you’re looking at are of the doll that I’m keeping for myself. The one you will receive has never been out of the box or even the outer cardboard mailing sleeve surrounding the box. This is the 20-21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. She is coming to you in a handmade lingerie suit (not pictured). She does not have earring holes but with her very fulll wig you can rarely get a glimpse of her ear lobes. I warn you, Cissy can be addictive, at least she is for me, I love them! This Cissy is one I got from Susan Wells Roberts (Pearlsgirls). I totally trust that Susan has given the thorough gone over with the Cissy’s, she is absolutely amazing with them. Susan is another master at restoration when it comes to these dolls. This Cissy has an excellent body. I have trouble getting her left leg bent all the way at the knee. It bends about half way for me. I have shown in my pictures that Cissy has a few marks on the neck. You really can’t notice it especially if wearing pearls. Her face is sealed with a matte sealer, not done by me, came this way to me. She has beautiful blush and a tremendously thick wig. The more I look at it, I believe the torso has had a bit of applied body makeup in an attempt to cover the scratch marks on her neck. I haven’t done anything to her, only enjoyed displaying her. She has the sweetest face!! Cissy has beautiful clear eyes that are nicely set. Eyes that are not both focused on the same thing is one thing that drives me crazy if my dolls have it and this girl has beautifully set eyes. The stand is not included. The dresses and accessories shown are not included, only a one piece handmade lingerie suit. Our home is non smoking and she has no odors. VERY RARE 35″ Madame Alexander Vinyl “Janie Playpal Doll From 1959 , Gorgeous Doll in Her original Outfit from 1959. Beautiful Doll gorgeous Coloring as seen in photo’s, which were all taken outside! Pen and close eyes all eyelashes. Her arms will only pose in high up position and down position as seen in photo’s, So arms move loosely. She will need a stand to stand. One leg is a little tighter moving then the other. She is 62 Years old so she has some Minor scuffing any fine scuffs can be helped with Magic eraser or fine sanding paper. She has some marks on her hinny as seen in photo 8 may come off with the Magic Eraser. I tried to get her dress off to take a photo of her front but as I tried her dress is 62 yrs old I put a small little tear with my finger in back of dress hidden by her hair as seen in last photo. So i figured leave well enough alone.. She is a Gorgeous Rare Doll with Beautiful , coloring and seems to be very well taken care of. This is a heavy doll with Box and wrappings over 10+ She is 35 inches tall and she commands a large box THANK YOU. This doll is like new, with her beautiful complexion that I believe is untouched, and her ballet costume that is original, complete, and in excellent condition. The flowers have retained their color. She is clean, tightly-strung, odor-free and without any fading. She has her original pearl earrings and they are in excellentllent condition. She has her original tights and ballet slippers. She holds a pose easily. Her hair is a beautiful, clean and shiny auburn in the original set. But the doll came through just perfectly. Shes gorgeous, but I never had Elises as a child and I have a few now but I just cant love them. Ill be listing them all in the next several weeks, along with clothes for them. The only issues I see with her, which I would consider minor ones, is a slightly lazy eye which goes away depending on how her head is set. Some of her lashes over that eye are bent a bit. Her flower headpiece elastic strap on one side has come loose from its staples so it is currently tied on one side to the headpiece. I think it can be restapled.
