Vintage 1950s Madame Alexander. Teen fashion doll, jointed: legs, arms, elbows, and knees. Metal doll stand included. Bra, panties, petticoat- lace trimmed of white snap close bra with ribbon straps, elastic waist panties and petticoat/slip. Green and gold print cap sleeve dress – snap closure. Gold wool swing coat and hat with off white satin lining – snap closure with button on outside. White woven design jacket shirt with pockets and side vents snap closure with red buttons on outside. With elastic waist and side vents. Pink and white gingham sleeveless night gown snap back closure. Flocked light blue eyelet with pink flowers and lace trim short puff sleeves tie closure at neck. Doll in in good condition, original hair, small split at right thigh where the joint meets the body, some of the eyelashes are gone, green eyes (somewhat cloudy), some discoloration on the plastic body, wardrobe is brand new, very good, please. This 1956-59 articulated 12 Lissy doll is in excellent condition. She is strung well and is easily posed. She is dressed in a white version of the Garden Gown shown in the 4th photo. That version is done in pink, but this one is white and does have the Lissy tag on the skirt inside back. Dress closes with two small white buttons. I do not know the dress item number. Doll herself is in excellent clean condition, joints bend easily and she will sit posed as shown. She has her original red full wig, (which is in beautiful condition with her original pink bow), bright face coloring with blue-green eyes, that open and close easily. Along with the lovely dress which is in very nice condition, she has a full netted petticoat. She is wearing pink satin panties which are a tiny bit stretched in the waist but still stay up. She has the Lissy black side snap shoes and vintage nylon socks. I dont believe the socks are a match to this outfit however. Ive given her a straw hat, not original to this outfit, but she looks cute with it. She is beautiful without the hat as well! I actually acquired her from the famous baseball player, Phil Rizzuto’s wifes collection many years back. This is Elise Brunette Ballerina with original pink slippers, no outfit unfortunately. She is 15.5 inches tall with original upswept brunette hairdo and flowered garland still in tact. She has a stunning face, great coloring, beautiful, clear greenish sleep eyes, full lashes, ruby red lips. Her body is hard plastic and is marked Mme Alexander on her back See picture. Her arms, and face are a softer plastic. Her arms are articulated and bend at the elbow. Her legs bend at the knee and ankles. She has the Madame Alexander circle on her neck with numbers that look like 1938 but I do not think that is the date I tried to research that but really was not able to find out what I needed. If you have any information, I appreciate it. This is a stunning doll and one I hate to part with Nicer in person. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed 1950s hard plastic completely jointed 16 Elise ballerina doll with her original tagged gold dress and attached panties. She has lovely unclouded blue eyes fringed by totally intact eyelashes. Her fsce is highlighted by lightly blushed cheeks; lovely and full unfaded lips; and her coloring is even and true on her torso and limbs, but you can see the vinyl on her face is slightly discolored. Her hair is full, thick, and shows no thinning areas. She could use a restyling of hair. She is free of odors, chips, or splits at her seams. This doll is one of hundreds of dolls we bought from an adult lady collector downsizing her estate. Please note, she is as close to factory fresh as you can find for an almost 80 year-old doll. Her head, arms, and legs can somehat hold a pose. Her arms are minorly loose. I see no signs of issues, blemishes, and she is absolutely free of odors. Both of her clear unclouded eyes open and close completely. Her eyes are stunning. She is crowned by her amazing gold and sequins with somewhat still stretchy elastic. Her dress is four layers of flawless elegance. The two snap buttons in the back are well attached. She is simply stunning. Unfortunately, her pantyhose are torn on one side. I will include them so you have something for her until she is outfitted with new hose. She is missing her shoes. She is beautiful and free of issues. She was only rarely removed from her showcase by the original adult collector. The doll was stored in a cool dark room in her pet and smoke free house. She shows no age or discoloration. She is from a pet and smoke free home and was from the original adult collector’s clean home. We left her as is to preserve her in the original found condition. She shows nothing majorly detracting from her displayable condition. She may show unnoticeable marks on her skin from dressing and undressing. Her coloration is much more bright and blushed than she appears in her photos. She is complete with no chews, splits, or major damage. Her hair appears in the original style.
