I just added her original wig from Madam Alexander. Its brand new and never been brushed. Has a few fly away places. Very nice trucks trunk set. She was done very nicely she seems very tight. Cissy silk and lace armor contains a lift top vanity bench Golden mirror , padded hangers and a four piece vanity set. For loungewear where that every day woman dreams of a one shoulder lace column charmeuse nightgown Teddy and turbine , panned velvet rope plus best bustier garters and stockings pantyhose and the beautiful Sleep eye Cissy wearing pink rhinestone earrings. Trunk is a nicer condition than most of the ones Ive seen that two of the hinges are broken but it does shut and locks with the one hinge. Featured here is a lovely vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll dressed in a wonderful rare bright green summer shorts suit; it has matching jacket and pants and gold buttons. Beneath the short suit she wears another rare item — a vintage Cissy doll lace lingerie with satin ribbon straps and bodice accents, the ORIGINAL RHINETONES and rosettes. She wears vintage strappy elastic Cissy doll high heel shoes with cabbage roses on the toes, pink felt lining, and pearl white vinyl heels. These pearl high heel shoes are very rare and hard to find in good condition. The elastic is slightly stretched but still holds to her ankles very nicely; see photos. She will come with an amazing LARGE vintage tightly woven straw hat — in a lovely Asian shape. It fits her head perfectly, with an inner straw head ring to hold it in place; see photo. On her left hand she has a vintage “diamond” doll ring and carries a handmade green straw bag with large fabric flower and lovely long strap handles. In her purse she has a pair of vintage doll sunglasses — yellow frames with dark green sunglasses lens. They look adorable on her or carried in her purse. In her right hand she carries a vintage paper and wood hand fan, with painted flowers and silver paper accents. This lovely doll has a center stitched beautiful soft blonde wig with tight curling bangs; her hair is pulled back in a braid that holds her shoulder length curls in place at the nape of her neck under her hat. She has the beautiful hazel eyes of the vintage Cissy dolls, two stroke painted brown brows, all her dark brush eye lashes and the most beautiful salmon orange pink rosebud lips and rosy cheeks. NOTE: There is a small, half inch visible line crack on the right side of her neck; see last two photos. She came to me from her prior owner with this crack and I have no idea how long she has had it or how it was made. She has another small crack inside the inner left hip joint — se photo. It is not visible unless the hip is opened as I did for the photo. No props in the photos are included in this listing — only the dressed doll with her accessories. The saddle doll stand is NOT included. My home is SMOKE FREE and PET FREE. THis doll has no odor. She has been kept in my darkened doll room and shows no sign of any sun fading. Vintage 1950′s Madame Alexander 20 Blonde Cissy Doll in Tagged Lingerie. This doll is lovely and will be a beautiful display doll. She is in nice condition but does have some flaws. Hair – in original set but does have a thin layer on the back that is a little messy. It will lay down on the head fine. I took a picture with it pulled away from the head so you can get a clear picture. Head – no cracks. The head tends to lean forward and will bobble a little. It almost feels like it might be strung a little too tight but it has no problem holding a position. Face – Brows are there but a little light. Very faint to no cheek color. Lips are great with no rubs or fading. Eyes open and close, sometimes they need a little tap. Some lashes on one eye are cut but not gone. Arms – strung tight and in good condition. Might need to be cleaned as they have some light spots in various places. Torso – very good condition. One breast has a tiny spot on it that did not come off with just water but might come off with a magic eraser, I just don’t have one right now. The rest of the torso looks nice but could use cleaning. Legs – Very nice. Legs have some scratches at the top where they have rubbed against the torso. One foot has some fading on the top. One leg has a small red mark on the front. The other legs has a small, faint mark on the back. Outfit – is tagged. Some fraying on the inside lining on the top. Straps still have some stretch left. This AUTHENTIC Cissy doll is circa middle 1950′s, originating from a collection including several original Cissy doll apparel items which we will be offering for sale shortly under separate listings! Cissy measures 21 tall and will come to you in a wonderful vintage two piece LINGERIE ENSEMBLE consisting of a white cotton bra with pink rick-rack trim and matching white pink trimmed panties with an elasticized waist! The outfit is accessorized with her original SEAMED NYLONS that do have a few holes and runs, but mostly at the top, and a pair of refurbished vintage elastic PINK SANDALS with original pink plastic high heels, allowing a snug fit around her feet! Cissy also wears a vintage PEARL NECKLACE most likely made by The Premier Doll Company, who Madame Alexander used to outfit Cissy with various accessories including jewelry and purses! To complete her outfit Cissy has a vintage faux DIAMOND RING that she wears on her pinkie, adding a little bit of glitz to an already GLAMOROUS GIRL! The doll herself is just lovely; beautiful HAZEL BLUE eyes with original DARK LASHES, lovely deeply painted ROSE LIPS, very subtly blushed cheeks, and beautiful BLONDE HAIR with little tendrils framing her face that has been gathered in the back with a vintage pink ribbon! As common with Cissy there are some missing eyelashes on her right eye and a few stray hairs with some residual glue on one side and under the back of the wig, but in our opinion do little to detract from her INFAMOUS BEAUTY! Cissy’s body is simply AMAZING; jointed at the neck and arms at the top of the torso, elbows and hand, and jointed legs at the hip and knees, which still retain a light blushing! Her head, FEMALE SHAPED torso and legs are made of HARD PLASTIC; her arms and hands are of soft plastic or vinyl for easy posing! She is marked at the back of the neck “ALEXANDER”, and has no apparent splitting at the seams or tops of her legs which are also common to this doll——Cissy is in overall DISPLAY READY condition ready to be dressed by her next lucky owner!
