Vintage Madame Alexander Walker Margot Ballerina Margaret Face Doll 18. Margaret faced “Margot Ballerina” by Madame Alexander. #1850 of the 1954 Madame Alexander catalog. This beautiful girl is a Straight Leg Walker and her head. Turns from side to side when her legs are moved! Her gorgeous golden blonde hair is waved away from her. And secured at the back in her original hair net. Spanner bar on top of head. Her lovely hair is accented with a headpiece of pink and white flowers. Pink Satin and tulle costume is accented with sparkly prong set rhinestones on the bodice. She is missing her shoes. Eyes close when laid down. They do open and close fine. There is a small, very stable surface crack under her chin, which is smooth feeling i. There is no surface unevenness. One of her sticking has several holes. These flaws are shown in detail photographs. Her costume is in very good condition, with no holes, rips, tears or stains, other than some very light overall surface soiling. Very rare, coveted & gorgeous Cissette Margot Klondike Kate Madame Alexander 9 inch hard plastic doll. This rare Cissette is from the 1962 Madame Alexander Vintage Collection. Klondike Kate was the show girl of the period of the Alaskan gold rush boom. She was created as an exclusive edition for FAO Schwarz in 1962. She is a MARGOT Cissette – the Margot line was only in production for two years so she is a rare model. Klondike Kate’s features are a socket movable head, elaborate upswept hairdo, blue eye shadow, black eyeliner, rosebud pink lips, and nailpolish. She is wearing a 3 strand pearl necklace (one has a clasp). No earrings but has a diamond ring and rhinestone bracelet. Her nails are painted a pretty rose pink. She is wearing a red velvet fitted style dress, a trimmer with matching nylon tulle and swirly braid. Very much like Miss Kitty saloon girl singer from the Gunsmoke show, also popular in this early 60s era. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander New York & is in Lovely condition. 4 square shaped snaps. She is Alexander model 761, 1962. Her brunette hair in a fancy updo has 4 red feather plumes. She has black lace and ruffled panties and stockings. She has the MADAME ALEXANDER imprint on her back, this can be seen in the photo. She is shown on pg. Her face is exquisite. Her sleepy eyes work beautifully. Her legs are jointed just above the knee and her arms move as well in ball and socket fashion. Now to the flaws: one part of one finger on her right hand is missing and her torso became stained from the black panties over the decades. There are many many replacement parts for MA dolls – so I believe finding a new right arm and replacing it will be fairly easy. Miss Kate has the MA lady torso shape. Rare and very collectable. Alexander Cissette “Margot” with original hang tag. Her clothing is crisp, and has never been removed. The rhinestone straps on the gown are completely intact and in beautiful condition. Complete original silver sparkle gown, slip, panties, shoes, and pearl earrings. She even has her stockings and they are still up! The gown is tagged and I have pulled the tag out to show. Doll has no cracks, splits or marks and the stringing is very good. Her legs move and bend easily. Beautiful face and her hair style is in the original elaborate updo. Shoe elastic is not completely tight but the shoes stay close to her feet. Eyes open and close perfectly. Look at all photos and please ask questions before purchasing. She will be insured and require a signature upon arrival. All reasonable offers respectfully considered. Margaret faced “Margot Ballerina” by Madame Alexander. Believe this dates to 1954. #1850 of the 1954 Madame Alexander catalog. Her hair is waved away from her face and secured at the back in her original hair net. Spanner bar on top of head. Dark blonde hair is accented with pink and white flowers. Pink Satin and tulle costume is accented with sparkly rhinestones on the bodice. Pink satin slippers with satin ties. Head turns from side to side when arms are moved. Eyes close when laid down. They do open and close fine. Faint stray mark on upper right arm and one on her left shoulder. Super faint stray marks on upper chest and on upper back. Just in time for the holidays – An extremely rare, early 1950′s, Maggie Margot Ballerina by Madame Alexander. Original tagged and double layered pink tutu w/ gold accents, flowers, & matching satin slippers. She’s wearing a matching floral headpiece. Hair is tied up into her black net snood at her neck. Clear sleep eyes, working perfectly, with beautiful eyelashes. Pretty black ribbon tied around her neck into a bow. Original gold wrist-tag tied to her right wrist! Smoke free home, kept in a box which deteriorated. We believe this was the label that was on her box, but we may have mixed them up. If anyone knows, and can offer assistance, please contact me. I would be grateful. She has a couple tiny specks below her mouth and one on her right cheek. I’m too scared of damaging her to try and remove so I’ll leave that to your discretion. I’m not a doll expert, but other than the couple tiny specks she hasn’t any marks, chips, scuffs, cracks, fading, holes, tears, or anything that I can detect. The doll appears to have never been played with. I’d say she’s in excellent or near mint condition. Margot is an all original 14 Madame Alexander Ballerina from 1951. She is a straight leg walker and has a blonde wig, blue eyes, thick lashes and bright original face color. She wears a pink tulle and satin tutu with rhinestone appliqués on the bodice. In her hair she wears a cluster of original flowers and original hair net. I don’t think her shoes and stockings have ever been removed. She even has her original arm bands, which are so often missing on this doll. The tulle dress is one layer and then there is another layer of tulle attached to the bloomers. The dress is tagged “Madame Alexander” and is crisp and unfaded. No stains on her dress. She is so crisp and mint but let me note a few items: Wig is lifting on the left side of her face. Shoes have darkened at the edges, I imagine from the aging of the glue that holds them together. She has a rub on her left arm right at the socket and a few light marks on her chest right below the neckline of her dress, not visible when dressed. Her eyes open and close smoothly but every so often the left eye sits back further in her head than the right eye when closed. It does not happen every time and has not happened when open. She was only made for 1 year (1961), and was Madame Alexander’s answer to Barbie. She is 9 1/2 tall, made of hard plastic with sleep eyes, perfect rosy cheeks, deep pink lips and a golden blonde upswept hairdo. She is wearing # 920, off-the-shoulder gown of satin the color of French lilacs with the top outlined in sequins, long can-can petticoat, satin panties trimmed with lace, seamed stockings and gold strappy shoes. She has the beautiful triple rhinestone earrings and a rhinestone ring. She is All Original and in Near Mint Condition and comes with her Original hang tag still tied to her wrist. This listing is for a wonderful simply gorgeous early 1950′s MARGOT BALLERINA. She is in a stunning tagged bright blue tutu and she is all original condition. Margot stands 14 tall and there are no cracks, stains, or splits in her hard plastic. Her vibrant facial coloring is totally original with no retouches. Her sparkling blue eyes open and close and she has all her eyelashes. The hair style is in its original set and is topped off with beautiful flowers. The outfit is in excellent condition. I haven’t found any tears in the netting. There is a faint pink mark, maybe from a pen, on her right calf but it is hard to see. I hadn’t even noticed it until taking pictures in bright light. I haven’t found holes in the tights. All together a beautiful doll that will be a standout in your collection!
