Tissue paper may be broken or ripped. Tissue paper is not in perfect condition. Doll has discoloration on body due to being under light for so long. Arms feel loose, doll is articulated. Box is not original to doll. Tissue paper is stained.

MADAME ALEXANDER Little Mermaid doll in seashell. Can be removed from Shell as seen in photos. Her eyes close when she is laid down. This Doll is gorgeous and well taken care of. Entire shell with her inside is 9 inch x 8 inch x 4 inch. Soft body below waist. This item is stored and handled in an environment free of bugs, smells, smoke, and pets. I DO NOT KNOW ALL DETAILS REGARDING THE PROCESS BUT WE CAN FIGURE IT OUT!

1956 Cissy in tagged Black Mermaid Torso Gown. She is in beautiful but NOT mint condition. She did get a little refreshing at the spa and has been restrung. Her gown will need a little attention. Although it is free from any damage, I did find a couple of marks on the underskirt and the velvet will need to be brushed. Her original shoes are with her, but the elastic is stretched and they will need to be repairs. No splits or cracks, free from any odors or smoke. Please contact me if you have any questions. If I hadnt gotten laid off, this doll would not be up for sale… But life goes on. This is a gorgeous redhead Cissy , dressed in the HTF 1956 Black Torso Mermaid evening gown is in very nice condition but NOT mint in my opinion. Her hair is in all original form, blue eyes are turning a little green, full eye lashes, eyes close freely, no smells, smoke or odors She had good color on her paint, cheeks are bare, lips and body color is good.. No splits on the legs or crotch. Dress still has all the original rosettes on the outside and under layer of the dress. Original panties and fitted slip to the knee with flounce tulle to the feet. HTF ORIGINAL shoes, however, elastic is completely stretched out and there are some moth holes in the pink of the shoes. You should be able to see this clearly. Dress is in great shape, but upon examination, I did notice a few areas on the underside that should be refreshed and cleaned. There are some rub marks around her neck, I ran out of space for pics but can send if you want to see them. Clearly, in her 63 years of life, she has been admired from afar and not in played with condition. This is a Madame Alexander Cissy dress from 1956 #2043. Madame Alexander Made 3 variations of the torso gown. Comes with her black tulle slip with attached panties. Her tag is present but faded. She likely had more flowers at shoulders and in the gown. She has a few pin holes in the tulle and flounce but they don’t really show. There is some fading near the hem. The dress shows beautifully. There are no rips. Hard to Find Dress. My dolls are all around 50-80 years old. I consider them TLC and some are in better condition than others. I try to mention anything I see, but please read the description and look at the pictures.
