Madame Alexander 8 Little Bo Peep Set #42570 w/Original Box-Tags and registration cards.

The set includes an ivory satin theater coat lined in aqua taffeta, and an aqua taffeta dress. The coat is accented at the neck with a large aqua taffeta bow. This version does not have the coin trim at the wrist. The tagged dress has cap sleeves, a dropped waist, and gathered bust. The taffeta is crisp and clean like it just left the factory. She also wears a pink taffeta tulle trimmed cancan slip, val lace trimmed pink taffeta panties, and seamed stockings, silver shoes, and a faux diamond ring. The clothes are all in superb condition, never having been washed or ironed. There are no holes rips tears or stains to the clothes. The elastic on the shoes has relaxed but still stay on well as seen in the photos. The doll is pictured on page #59 of the book Cissy R. There are no splits or cracks on the doll. I don’t think the doll was played with. She has lovely original coloring no spa treatments or touch ups. The doll has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, and a gorgeous blonde wig in the original updo set. The original box is also included. It is not in very good condition being taped in places, and pieces of the sides of the top are missing. Still it is the original box and 65 years old. She is a beautiful early Cissy doll in a minty outfit that would be a wonderful addition to any collection. The pictures are the main description. The doll is pictured on page #45 of the book Cissy R. There are no splits or cracks on the doll. She has lovely original coloring no spa treatments or touch ups. The doll has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, and a gorgeous brunette wig in the original set. In addition to the “Yachting Ensemble” she will also arrive wearing her original faux diamond solitaire earrings, red Cissy shoes, a faux ruby ring, new navy blue velvet ribbon in her hair, and she carries French depose white sunglasses. There are no holes rips or tears to Cissy’s clothes. The elastic on the waist of the pants has relaxed as you can see in the last photo. The halter top is exceptionally nice. It is usually found with frayed lining, the lining on this top is minty. The tag on the jacket is excellent no sign of ever being washed. The emblem on the jacket shows some wear and missing beads which is often seen, very often the emblem is missing altogether. Vintage Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 21 Doll! She is all composition. No cracks or repairs. Her wig original mohair is auburn and is glued to her head. She also wears an original MA Cissy hat pictured on page #240. The horsehair pill box hat adorned with roses and tulle is also lovely. They are both VHTF boxed extras. She is a very pretty girl. She is a beauty. No splits cracks or odors to the doll, she is close to mint and very clean. Her coloring is beautiful ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, clear blue eyes with full eyelashes. She may have had a spa treatment I don’t know for sure, if so it was very well done. I believe she is an early painted Cissy because she does not have holes for earrings in her ears. Her wig is an original Cissy with a blonde up do style close to perfect, hardly a hair out of place. The dress is tagged J. The outfit consists of a black floral cotton dress with white organdy notched collar that opens up the front. Under the dress is a a black net petticoat with pink satin ribbon trim and white satin panties. A black open crown wide brim hat trimmed with flowers and tulle compliments the dress. Accessories include a new faux pearl necklace, faux diamond bracelet and Cissy ring, a pink floral reproduction MA hat box by Kiley Shaw, black faux pearl trimmed shoes, and new reproduction Cissy stockings. For your consideration is this amazing 1958 Alexander Elise doll typically known as Junior League. She is an excellent condition, the only issues I see are that her shoes elastic has completely stretched out and the ribbon around her coat has left a couple of pink marks around the collar and a tiny bit in the front of the coat. She could also use a good steaming on her dress and coat but I will leave that up to the new owner. Her hair is still in its original hair style and she has lovely, beautiful coloring. She has beautiful blue eyes and all of her eyelashes. She has her furry hat with little purple flowers on top! She really is for the true Elise collector. I believe this doll is very hard to find especially in this condition. Now the box is another story it is in pieces – I didnt take pictures of it because it is a mess somebody will have to put it together with tape if they want the box. This doll has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. She is part of my personal collection and comes from a smoke free home and has no odors.
