Vintage Madame Alexander Blonde Cissette Doll Dressed in a Red Polka Dot Dress with Reversible Coat, hat, Slip, and High Heels. She measures approximately 9 tall. She is in beautiful vintage condition with very pretty facial coloring, she has a couple of minor spots on her body, her dress should probably be washed, her coat is in excellent condition, the elastic on the shoes, hat, and waistband of the slip has lost its stretch, otherwise she is in very good vintage condition. For your consideration is a beautiful Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy. Her auburn hair is in the original setting. Are a pretty blue with full lashes which open and close as they should. Her stringing is very good. Has no flaws that I can. See just a beautiful doll. Cissy is wearing one of the Navy Polka Dot dresses, tagged, from 1958. It is made from polished cotton with white cuffs, and to my knowledge, has never been washed as the fabric is very crisp and retains a beautiful sheen. The last picture is taken from. Her panties and shoes are made by Madame Alexander. She wears a vintage slip made of flocked material. Her hat was made from all vintage material as a replica of the original. Her jewelry, pearl necklace, pearl earrings and gold diamond ring were added. I try to describe as accurately as possible but may leave something out please look at the pictures carefully. The most important part of the description. Remember, this is a vintage doll over 50 plus years old. Perfection, as a new doll would. NOTE: I will be listing a brunette updo wearing rare Daisy Print , a redheaded updo wearing Navy Taffeta with Stole, a brunette bob wearing Pink Wide Stripes , and a blonde bob wearing Aqua Taffeta, hopefully before the end of November, so please check back. Welcome to my auctions. Cissy is 20 tall, with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms. Her dress is done in a crisp vintage polished cotton fabric, in lavender, with white polka dots. It has white baby ric-rac trim, val lace on collar and sleeves and grosgrain ribbon at waist. Underneath is a white taffeta half slip with double tulle and ric-rac trim. White panties to match. New nylons that are tight. Her hat is made of nylon with white tulle bow and white netting that ties around the hat. There are lavender and lilac flowers on the hat and matching white bag with flower decoration.. Doll is beautiful with matte paint, brows, full lashes, cheek color, gold-green eyes and full red mouth. Her hair is in original set with curls around her face and back and tiny bangs in a medium blonde color. No cracks, rubs, tears. No repaints that I know of. She was this way when I bought her. She has a glue spot on back of head that is probably factory. I can see no other reason that it is there otherwise. She in great condition. Clean with no odors. Dress and slip were made by Vintage doll Boutique, hat and bag were made by me. From smoke free home. I no longer sell outside the U. S because of postal problems…….. 1956 Madame Alexander Cissy doll skirt and blouse. I want to be very clear that there is no fading or color variance to the skirt. It appears that way in some of the pictures due to the nature if the polished cotton fabric and the flash. It is a rich navy blue throughout. Waistline is adorned with flowers that are in excellent condition as is the skirt which is crisp and clean. The blouse is a sheer nylon trimmed in Val lace and is also in excellent vintage condition. Madame Alexander 20 Cissy Doll Red/White HTF Organdy Polka Dots 1956 Dress. Up for sale is one of my Madame Alexander Cissy dolls, plus her dress & accessories. Doll has not been improved by me, Ive owned for approximately 10 years. I see no cracks or repairs, she has blue/green eyes & lush hair which would look superb if fixed right. Because Im afraid of doing damage, Ive never done. Wig is tight on head. Alexander on back of head. She may have been restrung her left leg, to me, looks a tad longer, but maybe she needs new stringing, although she poses well for me & legs bend at appropriate places- hips knees. Just looked & string is white so guess she is restrung. Her left leg seems to go a little forward when standing – which now I would attribute to the restringing. Just looked at my other Cissys & their left leg looks a tad longer also. Her paint on her body has some lighter spots & inside of both legs have what to me looks like a line or rub. Her eyes clack when opening eyes, & Im pretty sure at one time I thought her eyes needed replacing, adjusting something, because even though I cant get get them to sink with eye lashes in head, now, it did it in the past 5-6 years ago. Shes been posed & dressed In my closet for her life with me. Eyes are opening & closing well now. The red & white organdy polka dot dress was made in 1956. Described as dress of sheer dotted organdy with typical shirtwaist construction. Features a built in taffeta camisole trimmed with ungathered Val lace. Supposed to have belt loops. One may still be partly there, & supposed to have red ribbon sash (easy enough to replace) but I always used this very versatile red plastic belt. The hat & purse are Robert Originals & compliment the dress, at least to me it does. She also had on (& is included) a full cotton slip & panties. Her shoes are black with white straps, (the dress originally came with red), & a fluffy slip I was told to be original, but Im not sure myself. Her red purse has a red polka dot bow which complements her dress. The dress has a couple brown spots on left sleeve, a funny repair on outside of right sleeve, a tiny hole on left back by waist. This has always been my favorite of the Cissy dresses & Im glad it will go to someone who appreciates not only these dolls but the beautiful clothes that were designed for her. Oh yes you can see the tag part that was sewn in & cut off on the bank of the dress. Tosca blonde hair in original bob set, and stunning peaches & cream complexion. She has such gorgeous, delicate features. Check out her brows! Her sparkly, clear blue green eyes still have her perfect original lashes. Her creamy complexion, with original, high color blush, eye shadow, and satiny red lips is all original and artfully painted!! She is free of splits & cracks. Her stringing is perfect for posing beautifully in any outfit you desire. She can even stand by herself if you balance her just right! Her arm and body color still match beautifully, so she can wear those revealing outfits without a problem. She’ll come to you in her original MA dress, slip, panties, seamed stockings and red high heeled sandals (elastic is stretched as usual, but cleverly twisted they work just fine). Vintage 1957-58 Madame Alexander Cissette doll. Red hair, triple stitched part. Wearing tagged rare polka dot ruffled. With original white taffeta slip. Matching hat, panties, white strappy. Presented here is a fabulous 1950′s Madame Alexander Cissette doll. She has red hair with a triple stitched part wig, still in most of the original lovely curls. The eyes open and close freely, hard upper lashes, painted under lashes, single stroke brows, coral mouth, nice coloring. The doll is hard plastic, bent knee, good strings, holds a pose well, marked on the back; MME Alexander, no splits. She is wearing the original tagged dress, it has a full circle skirt, made of white cotton with blue polka dots, ruffled trim. She wears a matching straw hat with blue flocked flowers, bow and veil. She has her white taffeta slip, blue taffeta panties and white strappy high heels. The clothing is all in excellent vintage condition, minor age related flaws only.
