Doll Madame Alexander 8 Doll- Queen Elizabeth II, England. This is a doll that is pristine, still has tag, no indication that she has ever been removed from box or had mesh removed from her hair. She represents Elizabeth II, The Queen of England in her younger years. She has sashes and awards on her beautiful white jacquard gown that represent all she has done over 7 decades as she celebrates her platinum jubilee this year. This doll is rare, very hard to find. I need not mention that a pristine doll is very valuable and Her Majesty’s age and future longevity makes this doll only more likely to increase in value. When I don’t really want to sell one of my treasures and know I might not find another one if I regret it and I have never had a pristine MA doll – they have always at least been on display behind glass, I know this one is a treasure probably not to be found on social platforms. A true collector dreams of finding a doll not removed from box that is growing in value – here is one, still for an affordable but collectable price. I have over 50 vintage Madame Alexander dolls starting from 60 years ago, and this is the only one I put away and never played with or even took the mesh off her hair. We didn’t know we weren’t supposed to play with our dolls when we were little. We were just to keep them packed away, I guess a few did it, I only did accidentally – forgot she was stored in the back of a closet. This is a true find in my house – I forgot I even had her. Especially now with being her platinum jubilee and she just turned 96, this doll is a collector’s dream. I just can’t keep all I have, and each one has it’s own reason to make it difficult to part with. My prices are a little above market to get them to their final destination, but if you are that, make an offer. I know my prices can be beat, but not my service. Vintage Madame Alexander 1953 Queen Elizabeth Doll RARE. This doll is such a beauty, she has an amazing realistic expression. If you’re looking for a special Madame Alexander doll for your collection, she is exquisite. She’s 18 tall hard plastic, walker style body, no cracks or splits, no odors. She has the Margaret face, beautiful clear blue eyes with full original black lashes, eyes open and close well. Ruby red lips, reddish hair with factory pins in original style with curls, some fly aways in back. She’s wearing her silver tiara and beautiful matching silver rhinestone earrings. Her tagged Madame Alexander ivory brocade satin gown has a floral embossed design. The blue sash is faded, it’s lovely jewelry is intact. All staps are present on gown and the matching petticoat with panties attached. One snap is loose on the petticoat. Matching ivory stockings and shoes. Vintage Madame Alexander Doll 20 Cissy Queen. This is the 1955 version of the Vintage Madame Alexander 20″ Cissy “Queen Elizabeth Doll, honoring her coronation. Cissy has a hard plastic head, and soft vinyl jointed arms. She does show some slight scuffs on her upper arms. Her honey blonde hair is in this original set with a replaced hair net. Her Tiara is missing a couple of jewels but is in wonderful condition overall. She is marked on the back of her head Alexander. There is some some scuffing around her neck and an area on the shoulder. Cissy has painted red lips, blue eyes that open and close freely with full lashes. She does have a couple of small paint chips on her forehead. Just a beautiful face. Cissy’s wonderful brocade gown has some very faint stains and spots along hemline but very faint. She does, however, have light red/pink stains on the back of her gown, bustle area, it may be set in after all these years. I could not lift it with a washing. There is also a spot on back bodice along neckline. Other than that, the gown is just wonderful and tagged Cissy. Her undergarments consist of original matching panties and a wonderful Cissy tagged teddy. Her nylons are perfect. Her hoop slip is nice in original condition. Her gloves are aged but sound with a small hole at the top on the left arm. Her blue sash, “Sash of the Garter” jewels are tarnished and has some fading. She has on original earrings and one bracelet Her head and arms feel secure and she is not cracked on her torso, buttocks or torso. Her knees bend freely. All in all she is a stunning doll to add to your collection. Please look at photos carefully, they are a big part of the description. I also have many more pictures. Vintage 1957 Madame Alexander Cissette as Queen Elizabeth Doll. She is wearing a tagged gold brocade gown and a blue ribbon across her upper body with few decorative elements and couple of rhinestones. Yellow half slip with lace trim underneath. No shoes, tiara, or any other accessories that this doll might have had. The dress has some brown spots caused by deteriation of the metal clasps, but they are not on the visible surface, hidden underneath. Some age-related browning to the brocade on the back, and a little hole to the lining. There is also a browning spotting on the blue ribbon, seems like it is caused by metal decor touching the fabric. The doll itself in in good vintage condition with no damage, and sleepy eyes work well. Signed Mme Alexander on her upper back. Please see all the photos for details.
