I have up for sale a wonderful vintage original circa 1930s attic fresh set of Dionne Quintuplet 7 dolls. Unmarked as far as I can see , possibly made by Madame Alexander but not sure either way. Not sure if the clothes is original or made later, I tend to think its the latter. The dolls have some age / storage related imperfections as with many dolls of this era that were stored in old attics and such. The outside layer of material has some cracks , chips, losses. ONLY THROW OUT THE BOXES AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM OR ITEMS AND FIND NO DAMAGE other than what may be noted in the condition report or shown in the pics. SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND OF THE DAMAGED ITEM WOULD BE REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. Rare Antique DIONNE QUINTS 1936 Madame Alexander Quintuplets 7 Composition NM. Vintage Madame Alexander Dionne Quintuplets. All original composition dolls, 5 in their original boxes, boxes very good condition. All the dolls are in their complete tagged outfits. The sun suits, matching hat and shoes and socks. Each one has their metal tag in front with their names on it. Took pictures with sun suits down so you vacant see no crazing or cracking on the bodies. All jointed with mohair wigs. These dolls are in near mint condition from 1936. No cracking or crazing. Face paint and eye paint excellent. These dolls have only been stored and when handled only with gloves. Only one doll Annette has an issue with her left shoe. Snap is intact but off the shoe and seam in back coming slightly open in part of the seam. All their stringing is tight. Annette, Emile, Cecile, Marie, Yvonne. If you need more pictures ask as I loaded as many as I could. They come with 5 vintage books. Dionne Quintuplets picture album. Dionne Quintuplets play mother goose. The story of the Dionne Quintuplets. Soon well be Three years old. All paperback and original. The Dionne Quintuplets growing up hard book. Vintage 1935 Alexander Dionne Quints Quintuples Toddlers 8 Doll Set in Basket. Scroll down for larger views. She was an only child who had wonderful dolls, carefully stored for many years. This is the set of Dionne Quintuplet Toddler Dolls, made around 1936, marked: Alexander on their backs. Made by Madame Alexander. Each doll is 8” high, all composition, jointed at the neck, shoulders, and hips. The dolls have adorable faces, with bright coloring, original paint, painted brown side-glancing eyes, painted lashes & brows, red lips, and still rosy cheeks. The paint is excellent and there is no crazing or other issues on the faces. Each wears her original brunette mohair wig, still in the original set. The wigs are soft & clean, without missing or cut pieces. The bodies are also excellent. They have straight legs with cute toddler bodies. The paint is bright, with no re-paint or touch-ups. The knees and hands are still rosy. One doll has two small spots of chipped paint on the back of one foot, a second doll has a tiny paint rub on two finger tips. Otherwise all seem to be as they should. They have also been re-strung. The dolls come in their original hard-to-find wicker Picnic Basket with hinged lid, four metal fasteners and two handles (12 x 15” x 7.5” high when closed). It’s in nice shape with the original pink ruffled pillow inside the basket. The other side has the clothing, but no liner. Just a light water stain on the pillow. Included in the Basket: All 5 tagged organdy dresses and 4 matching organdy bonnets, 3 white organdy petticoats w/panties, 4 cotton pique rompers and all five matching bonnets, all five knit swimsuits (dolls are wearing these in photo), 5 flannel nightgowns (4 are pink, 1 is blue), 9 white oilcloth center-snap shoes, and 2 brass name pins (Cecille & Annette). The organdy dresses & bonnets are in very good to excellent condition. The petticoats/panties are fine, one has a little stain. The rompers & bonnets are in good to very good condition with only minor wear. The knit swimsuits are in good to very good condition. The flannel nightgowns are fine. The shoes do have play wear. Two shoes have a broken snap. The pins are in very good condition. It is rare to find this set in such excellent condition, with no hint of crazing. The clothing is also clean and unfaded. They are in great condition. They are only missing the pins for their pampers. They box has a few flaws as shown in the photos. The dolls measure 7 in. They are made with hard plastic heads and soft vinyl bodies. The have brown painted hair and blue eyes and fused black eyelashes. Some eyes open and close by themselves and some need a little nudge. These composition quintuplet dolls measure 7 tall and are well marked. It is embossed’Alexander’ on their backs and also on the backs or their necks you can see a marking. Their original clothing smells a bit musty – like they’ve been packed away for a long time. Two still has the cloth label attached to the collar. Three of the 5 have some degree of touch up paint on their faces. One doll needs her arms restrung. However, the composition is in decent condition with very slight paint wear on the backs of their legs. No cracking or breaks, or missing fingers. Very cute clothing – each in a different color. These are the Dionne Quintuplets, born in 1934 in Canada. This is a 75th Anniversary set by Madame Alexander in 1998. It includes all 5 dolls plus plus plus carousel no umbrella. For your pleasure, a set of MADAME ALEXANDER DIONNE QUINTs 75TH ANNIVERSARY SET WITH CAROUSEL. Check out the photos of these dolls. They are in excellent condition with all of the tags and name plates. It comes with the Carousel but is missing the umbrella. Maybe you have an extra one. I do not have any of the boxes either. This is a set of vintage. 1930′s MADAME ALEXANDER COMPOSITION DIONNE QUINTUPLET QUINTS DOLLS. Rescued from an estate sale. 4 dolls (Yvonne, Marie, Annette & Cecile) are 12 & Emily is 14. As you can see, they are fragile, minor crazing on legs, crazing/cracking on Emilys face. The clothing appears complete, although it has tattered, stained, and faded through the years. Have original stringing, clothing, shoes, socks, undergarments, & bonnets. All have complete attached name tags/medallions. The backs are embossed MADAM ALEXANDER on the 12 and “ALEXANDER” on the 14.
