I used the pattern from a Vogue 24 Dear one body to create her a body where she will sit by herself! Her vinyl is a beautiful peachy color. Vintage 18 Signed Eegee Vogue Baby Dear Alexander Kitten Lookalike Baby Doll. This is the cutest doll. She looks like she wasn’t played with. She is clean and santized. She is very rare especially in this condition. Her hair is clean and shiny and be combed. Her clothes are custom made just for her. Her dress and bonnet are a Swiss Batiste. It was upcycled from a Antique real baby Christening gown. I had to carefully take the antique gown apart and redesign it This takes a lot of time and imagination. This baby is ready to be adopted. She’ll make a wonderful playmate for your Patti & Peter PlayPal, Betsy, Linda & Sandy McCall and similar size dolls with her adorable looks and friendly features which include big round, sleep blue eyes with original long, perfect eyelashes, cute little “pug” nose, softly blushed cheeks and closed mouth. 1959 on her neck, she has very thickly rooted, long beautiful, light brown or dark blonde hair with thick bangs, no trim. She is shown on page 203, “Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls”-Patricia Smith (pink hardcover) reference book and a very seldom found doll. She has a jointed hard plastic torso, swivel vinyl head and joints at her shoulders and hips and wears her original panties beneath her pale pink cotton dress with wide sash and slip and original socks and original single strap, white shoes. She is in excellent, clean condition with long, shiny hair and crisp clothing with no chips or cracks, no missing hair or eyelashes and no repairs or odors as she is from a smoke free home. Marisa is a beautiful doll sculpted by Hildegard Gunzel as part of the 1991 collection made for Madame Alexander. She has been hand signed on her shoulder plate in the back as shown in the photograph. Marisa is about 25 inches tall with a vinyl head and shoulder plate and ¾ length vinyl limbs on a cloth body that has an armature in the arms. She has blue eyes and a blonde wig. Marisa came to us from an adult collector who had her on display. She is in good condition but her hair collected dust and her navy blue jacket faded in the sunlight while on display. We felt she looked a little dated as well, so we changed her wig and redressed her. She is now wearing a new custom hand made ballerina dress with silk ribbon embroidered roses with pearl accents. She is also wearing new My Twinn mary janes with added pink roses and a lovely headband. We are including her original outfit and wig with her as well. We also have her navy coat and cap, and will send them as well if you like, but they are not in very good condition and do have major fading. Also included with Marisa is her COA and a Hildgard Gunzel catalog that includes her. We do offer lay-a-way or delayed payments under certain circumstances.
