Madame Alexander Dolls

This is a very nice 1957 Madame Alexander Simple Satin Ballerina Elise doll. She wears her original tagged tutu of satin and tulle with abundant underlayers of tulle for rich fullness. There may be a few tiny holes in the tulle but if they are there, they don’t show amid all the layers. Beneath the tutu ruffles is the satin panty section. Elise wears her flower trimmed headpiece in her hair. Matching original flower swag on her tutu bodice. The flowers could use a quick steaming to reform them because they are a bit flattened from storage. Pink pantyhose with no runs and pink ribbon trimmed pink slippers. Slippers are a little dirty so could use a wipe down. No seam splits on the doll. Pretty clear blue eyes, shiny blonde hair, and round pearl earrings. Not mint but yet very nice vintage Elise doll.
