Madame Alexander Dolls

Listed here is a complete outfit, including tagged dress, for your vintage Cissy doll. I see some of these pieces come along fairly often, but this outfit is exceptionally nice, and I hope you’ll consider it if you’re looking for this particular one. The sheer green dress is nylon with pink flocked flowers. It is trimmed in green lace around the neckline and puffed sleeves, and it is lined in the bodice in chartreuse taffeta to match the companion slip and lace-trimmed panties. There are four square snaps down the back, all secure. A pink satin ribbon defines the waist and ties in a generous bow in the back. Its original corsage and greenery are in excellent shape. The straw hat is adorned with the same pink silky satin ribbon and has its original floral trim that looks great. The chartreuse taffeta slip and panties have had their elastic replaced with vintage pink rayon and rubber elastic, and it is nice and tight in both pieces. I have added to the mix a pair of vintage pink high heels with excellent elastic and a vintage gold-toned watch with pink elastic band. Never did like the look of the black high heels with this pretty dress. The dress, slip, and panties have not been washed. I started to press the ribbon streamers before taking the pictures, but I don’t think they have ever been pressed, and I wanted the purchaser (if there is one) to have the honor of doing that. The sleeves of the dress have had elastic woven through the stretched original elastic to give the right fit. I don’t see any spots, stains, tears, holes, frays, or other on the dress, slip, or panties. The slip could use a very light press. The lighting for the pictures is not doing the fabric justice. I have shown a close-up in two pictures of the fabric to show you that the little lines are present. They seem to appear and disappear according to the lighting. The Cissy doll that this outfit originally came on is modeling in the pictures, but she and her stand are not included.
