SONJA HENIE Skater – Madame Alexander Doll made in 1939. Of all the SONJA HENIE Dolls I have looked at, I think this doll captures her likeness the best. 18 Tall composition Sonja Henie Doll is wearing a Red Velvet Dress with Gold sequined trim and Gold. She has Blond eyelashes, pretty Red lips and little White teeth. Her hair is still set with pins and has. Out or played with. Her Brown eyes open and close easily. Left eye is a little cloudy. This was my Mother’s childhood. Doll that she played with in the year 1939! I do remember her telling me that she had. The nose and the right hand fingers professionally touched up. I see a fine little crack by her lower lip. I do see a very fine feather-line crack on. The front left leg see last pic. Her right skate is missing the blade but it still. Her arms and legs are attached well and operate like they should. For a Doll that is 84 years old – I think it is still in great vintage condition! This is one of the prettiest, 14 1/2 tall, signed: Madame Alexander/Sonja Henie composition dolls we have ever offered with original thick, blond human hair wig in original set with original, flower & marabou headpiece and barrette, beautiful, clear brown, sleep eyes with sable hair lashes, painted lower eyelashes, brows, eyeshadow and knee blush. She is in excellent condition, holds a pose well and has no crazing, no cracks or chips, no repainting or hair trim. Alexander Sonja Henie Skating. Original Tagged Dress Gold Skates. This is a beautiful Madame Alexander Sonja Henie ice skating doll made of composition and wearing her original pink satin tagged dress. She is about 21 tall. She has clear brown eyes with full brush lashes, and a blonde human hair wig in the original curls and barrettes. Her pink dress is crisp and has not been washed, and has feathers at the bottom hem. There is a small hole in the dress (in the folds). She is wearing matching pink panties. There is some minor crazing on the face of the doll; the body has no crazing. This is a vintage 1950s Madame Alexander-kins doll that is approximately 7 1/2 tall. She has blonde hair with curls, bendable knees, her eyes shut when laying down and good coloring on the face and lips. The body is in nice condition with no appearance of spots. She is in the original clothing that has some brown spots on the dress and socks. Her hat, navy jumpsuit and roller skates look good. Snaps on the back of the jumpsuit are in working condition.
