STUNNING – MADAME ALEXANDER – HARD PLASTIC. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. A stunning example of’Annabelle’. This Annabelle is 20 inches tall. She is all original except she is missing her sweater. For reference see page #26 in’Doll Values’ 13th Edition by Linda Edward. She is in mint condition. There are no chips, cracks, or splits in her hard plastic. And like I said, she is all original except she is missing her sweater. Notice that she has her original wrist tag. This doll is often referred to as “The Black Widow” because of her black dress. She is pristine and all original, and includes all of her original accessories which are often missing including her original hangtag. This is a very clean doll with a beautiful ruby lips, pink cheeks, clear blue eyes original eyelashes, no touch ups all original. She looks like the day she came out of the factory. There are no cracks or splits. Her clothes are immaculate no holes, rips, tears, stains, or odors to the clothes or the doll. The original bob wig has never been combed out or re-styled. The flowers on her hat are mostly pink and it still has the original chin strap. She still wears the original ring from 1955 with the hankie attached, and rhinestone bracelet. This is very rare to find. The band on this ring is not a smooth circle and the stone is not in prongs. I believe this ring was only used in 1955, Cissy’s debut year. Her tagged black taffeta dress, black shoes, stockings, ric rack pink petticoat and pink taffeta panties are original to this doll. The lucite purse which is very hard to find contains the original comb and sunglasses. Also included is a bit of nostalgia shown in the last photo a note from the original owner saying who bought the doll for her, and when and where. The purse has glue on the back pictured in the photos. The photos are the main description please examine them carefully. Absolutely stunning Cissy doll by MME. No splits or cracks. Has her eyelashes and makeup has not been touched. She has a small spot on her left cheek where it has lost color and a couple rub spots on her eyelid of left eye. Her face color is amazing and upon first glance appears flawless. She wears a tagged Cissy dress that is in overall good condition. Two small spots had to be mended where lace meets fabric and in the armpit of her right arm. Stunning 20 Madame Alexander Cissy Bride Doll #2280. Doll with beautiful face. Great lips and pretty blush. Head posing is a little loose could probably use new rubber bands. Necklace has left some gray discoloration on neck. Sleep eyes not always consistent. Normal for a doll of these age. Body has some slight scuffs and slightest yellowing on stomach. All hard to see. Legs have a one foot in front of the other pose built into the design. Dress and veil have yellowed. Hard to tell how much since it wasn’t pure white to begin with. Vintage 14 Madame Alexander Composition ALICE IN WONDERLAND Beauty. This 14 Princess Margaret Rose is pure sunshine in her frothy lemon gown. While the gown makes the doll, it is not Madame Alexander, however a famous seamstress and toy company owner sewed this simply enchanting gown. It is beautifully-crafted snd has a lemon taffeta under skirt as well as a lemon net attached petticoat which makes the gown fluff out elegantly. The gown is embellished with a yellow satin ribbon sash and a sprig of violet flowers at her waist and in her heir. Her blonde hair is made of the softest mohair and remains in its original set. She wears nylons and pink slipper satin Alexander ballet shoes with ribbon ties. This hard plastic Margaret Rose was made for three years between 1947 and 1950. She is a stunning infused Cissy with a lovely blonde up-do. There are no splits or cracks on the doll that I can find including up on the hips. She has beautiful coloring as you can see. Beautiful clear blue eyes, full eyelashes, ruby red lips and rosy cheeks. There are no earring holes. The only issue I see is that her legs on the back are blotchy. It is not a big issue but I feel that I should mention it. I do not know what caused this and it is very hard to see and even harder to capture with a camera, look at the last two photos and enlarge them. It does not show when she is wearing stockings. This beautifully high colored face Madame Alexander is a Working Walker from 1953. The crown itself needs to be reattached, there is a piece in her hair that is part of the crown, please see photo. She does have a lazy eye, please see photos. But when I hold her by the waist and tap her feet from underneath the eye straightens out. But still can go back to being lazy. It does not distract from her gorgeous face beautiful hair spectacular grand studded coat and full skirt. Her diamond, LOL from the left ear needs to be glued back in. Her slip is great the hoop is around it should be. She has her original hat box (curlers & comb) , Crown, Earrings, coat, dress, nylons, panties, shoes. She is a beauty. No splits cracks or odors to the doll, she is close to mint and very clean. Her coloring is beautiful ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, clear blue eyes with full eyelashes. She may have had a spa treatment I don’t know for sure, if so it was very well done. I believe she is an early painted Cissy because she does not have holes for earrings in her ears. Her wig is an original Cissy with a blonde up do style close to perfect, hardly a hair out of place. The dress is tagged J. The outfit consists of a black floral cotton dress with white organdy notched collar that opens up the front. Under the dress is a a black net petticoat with pink satin ribbon trim and white satin panties. A black open crown wide brim hat trimmed with flowers and tulle compliments the dress. Accessories include a new faux pearl necklace, faux diamond bracelet and Cissy ring, a pink floral reproduction MA hat box by Kiley Shaw, black faux pearl trimmed shoes, and new reproduction Cissy stockings.
