Doll and dress are in beautiful clean condition. It looks to have been taken care of very well. It is free of any odors. Has original shoes and white undergarment. You may have to gently press the dress to get some of the wrinkles out. The body is very clean. I don’t see any knee cracks or damge. The gold dotted hairnet has mostly deteriorated. This is the finest Cissy I’ve ever come across. I also have a Princess Charming with an outfit I’ve never seen before and a Cinderella in separate auctions so be sure to see those as well. Foe some reason my pictures turned out a little light today. The profile picture is how vibrant the colors are to this dress. I can provide you more pictures. Cissette is very nice, not mint, played with and displayed doll. She has triple stitched wig and nice face coloring. Her knees and hip joints work well. Her dress is blue taffeta with organdy sleeves and inserts. No tag or sash. The dress is in good condition, not mint. It has a 3 snap closures. It has had repairs to seams. It has been ironed and has shiny parts in the taffeta. Her hat is not an original Cissette hat but a vintage replacement. Her shoes are vintage Cissette. The elastic is loose. Navy woven hat with silk and velvet flowers, veil. Rhinestone drop earrings and necklace. Fur stole with blue lining. Original seamed nylon stockings. Presented here is a beautiful vintage Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She has a hard plastic jointed body with jointed vinyl arms. She has red hair with curls that are pined in place and bangs. Blue sleep eyes that open and close with thick hair lashes, painted under lashes, nice coloring, coral mouth, the ears are pierced. She has rhinestone drop earrings and a matching necklace. Marked on the back of the head “ALEXANDER” under the hair. She is wearing a beautiful tagged Cissy dress made of navy taffeta with a full circle skirt and matching bolero jacket, there are some age related flaws and a small repair on the back of the skirt but shows very well. The dress has short puff sleeves of net and seam bindings of black grosgrain, edged with black trim. Is a white cotton hoop skirt petticoat and black taffeta panties The shoes strappy black high heels with rhinestone buckles. The hat is woven with a wide brim, it is. With silk and velvet flowers and has a pale blue open weave veil. She carries a lovely faux fur stole with under tones of blue in the fur and a blue satin lining. Vintage Madame Alexander Cissy 20 doll wearing 1957 Yellow Floral Taffeta tagged dress, matching yellow slip/petticoat and black hat with flowers. Cissy has blonde hair with spanner bar, hard plastic body and nice blue eyes, all lashes are present. Her body is nice condition, no splits or cracks, her head on lower right side has a small separation, I’ve included a close up photo of this. Her ears are pierced but she’s missing her earrings. Her yellow floral taffeta dress is tagged, excellent condition, very vibrant and full, near mint except it’s missing it’s cameo. She has the matching yellow slip and it’s nice but the waist elastic is streched out a bit. Her hat is original corridinating hat with yellow flowers, it is warped from storage but might be pressed down. Her stocking has a tiny hole at bottom, shoes are not original and she’s missing undies. This is a Stunning Madame Alexander Cissette Doll in #916 tagged crisp version of the Navy Blue Taffeta Dress. She has high color to her cheeks. In her book Cissette A Complete Guide to the Madame Alexander Dolls by Marjorie E Merrod M. She states that this dress is a variation with the blue and white sheer blue and white dotted organdy puff sleeves, sash and pleated back inset. The organdy has not aged in color as viewed in person. The tagged taffeta dress is in super crisp clean excellent condition. Cissette is a 9 inch hard plastic doll in very clean condition. She is also wearing her basic clean and pristine chemise under the dress. Her hard plastic torso has pink color transfer front and back (below the waist). She is also wearing red elastic high heels and small rhinestone earrings. Her hard plastic body is super clean with tight joints, Her arms hold a pose and her medium blond zig zag stitched wig is absolutely beautiful. It is in the original very very shiny set with long curls to the nape of her neck. She has high color to her cheeks, peach eyelids, pink nail polish, full face paint and coral pink lips. Smoke and pet free. Additional: The color transfer, particularly red/pink, is usually from something she once wore. At the time this doll was produced, red dyes were very unstable, not like today. If you laundered an article of red clothing with your “whites”, you would have pink whites at the end. So she wore something red at one point in her life.
