Here is a Vintage 1956 VHTF Cissy Walks Her Dog Doll #2094 With Original Box by Madame Alexander. She is in Very Good to Excellent Condition. The Outfit Does Have Some Major Issues which is Common for This particular Outfit. But, By Judging The Overall Condition Of Doll and Her Box; These items Have Always Been in a Good Climate Control Environment! If You Happen to Have a Duplicate Outfit Only to Switch Out With This Set, Then You Would Have a Real Gem For Your Collection! Cissys hair is Mostly in Original Set with a few flyaways. Eyes are Blue, great Lashes, All Original face paint. No retouches, repairs, etc.. The Only real issue on This Doll is Someone painted her nails Long ago. I Scraped Some off with my fingernail, So it May all Come off! ? Did Not use any chemicals to remove It. The Outfit is in Mostly Poor Condition. Hat net is all but gone, Also, most flocking is gone. Skirt is ripped and deteriorating. Slip And Panties are in Very Good Condition. Slip elastic Slighty relaxed as Well as Original Heels. The Little Pooch is Original and In Excellent Condition. And Original Marked Box is One Of The Cleanest Ive Seen , Although Lid is missing flaps and Taped up. There is Also Letters M A written on Lid (crayon)! ? She is the VHTF Pink Bride from 1959 pictured on page #14 of the “Elise Files”. Her dress is made of pleated nylon tulle, has an organdy lining and puff sleeves, with a Val lace trimmed bodice and pink satin sash at the waist. She also wears a tagged crinoline slip and pink taffeta panties. Her long veil is attached to a coronet of flowers and she carries a beautiful floral bouquet with pink satin ribbon streamers. She carries her original shoes which have silver bases and pink elastic that has relaxed. The doll has a formal wig style That is caught up in a spanner bar and turned under in the back. She is a lovely doll to add to your collection. There are no cracks or splits that I can see on the doll. Her dress is excellent condition. The elastic in the puff sleeves has relaxed but still displays nicely. She wears faux diamond earrings and ring, and a pearl necklace. The stand is not included. For your consideration is this amazing 1958 Alexander Elise doll typically known as Junior League. She is an excellent condition, the only issues I see are that her shoes elastic has completely stretched out and the ribbon around her coat has left a couple of pink marks around the collar and a tiny bit in the front of the coat. She could also use a good steaming on her dress and coat but I will leave that up to the new owner. Her hair is still in its original hair style and she has lovely, beautiful coloring. She has beautiful blue eyes and all of her eyelashes. She has her furry hat with little purple flowers on top! She really is for the true Elise collector. I believe this doll is very hard to find especially in this condition. Now the box is another story it is in pieces – I didnt take pictures of it because it is a mess somebody will have to put it together with tape if they want the box. This doll has always been gently displayed and kept out of sunlight. She is part of my personal collection and comes from a smoke free home and has no odors. Gorgeous Madame Alexander Vintage Cissy is wearing her Very Hard To Find hand-painted tulle Fragile and Flowery gown from 1958. Cissy has beautiful brunette hair with full bangs, and her spanner bar. She has lovely blue eyes and nice coloring. The doll is in excellent vintage condition. Her head is slightly wobbly, but still displays fine. The gown has the fabric flowers and rhinestones throughout, and displays beautifully. I do need to mention that the gown had a few tears in the tulle in the back, which were repaired using Fabri-Tac Fabric glue. (not by me) There are also a few holes, and a cutout in the tulle at the bottom. I have added pics to show the places, and they are all in the back of the gown, and are only noticeable on close inspection. Cissy wears her lovely horsehair hat with large pink flowers, includes her slip, stockings, white gauntlets, and “diamond” ring. Cissy will need silver heels, as the elastic was stretched out on hers. The doll is free of smoke smells, or other odors. There is no doll stand included. I feel that the doll is at a very reasonable price. If the gown was in excellent condition, the doll would be listed for a much higher price. I will consider fair and reasonable offers. The doll is pictured on page #97 of the Cissy R. ” by Kiley Shaw wearing a “Birdcage dress. Need I say more her dolls are amazing. The doll is an early painted doll with beautiful face coloring, clear blue eyes, full eyelashes, rosy cheeks and ruby red lips. Her dress is the floral print yellow organdy with no birds. The dress pictured in Cissy Reference Rarities Restoration, is not this dress. This dress is a different version of the same dress that I had in my collection. It is with a heavy heart that I list this Cissy doll for sale as she is one of my favorites. The doll and dress are in excellent to near mint condition. The doll is very clean there are no cracks, splits, or odors. She does have rubs on the upper legs but in my opinion they are minimal. If you would like more pictures please ask. There are no holes, rips, tears, stains, or odors to the doll’s clothes. The Madame Alexander outfit includes the VHTF tagged dress, original panties, original taffeta tulle trimmed slip, and original nylons. The dress is crisp and lovely trimmed with val lace and all of the snaps are present. The slip is still crisp with no issues. The panties are excellent with no holes above the legs which are often found, but there is a pin dot size mark on the front of the panties. The nylons are minty no holes or runs slightly stretched on the top of one leg. The yellow shoes are replacements and a pearl necklace and bracelet are also included. Here is a VHTF Sun Dress for Cissy in NEAR MINT CONDITION!! These sun dresses are so difficult to come by and are so popular with collectors. 2 variations of Sun Dresses were made for Cissy using this fabulous fabric. It is a soft sateen cotton with a nice sheen. The color and size of the polka dots are a very iconic look for the mid-century. CONDITION: This dress is NEAR MINT. It has NEVER been laundered and it has not yellowed. The rick rack and bows retain their RED color and there is no bleeding to the dress. The faux buttons in the front are all present as well. The tag is nice and bright too. This the the exact dress that was photographed on page 62 of the Cissy! The only flaw I would like to point out is that the thread has faded on the shoulder bows. The coloring is nice and bright…. The close-up photos appear more washed out… I struggle with detail photos and retaining the vibrancy in the photos… The coloring is VIBRANT. A GREAT PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR CISSY COLLECTION. Please look over the photos carefully and READ the. Don’t think it has been washed. It’s worth restoring. The books say the dress is very hard to find on page #150 of the Cissy Files, but I think it is rare. The dress is in excellent condition with no rips, holes, or odors, the elastic is still stretchy, the lace is pretty. There are a couple of tiny brown spots on the sleeve and bodice of the dress, shown in the last two photos. They may soak out in oxiclean. Purple is the color of ROYALTY and CISSY looks amazing in this torso gown. Her Mermaid Look will be the highlight of your Cissy collection. She’s a STAR and she knows it! This is a phenomenal doll and gown from my personal collection. She is VHTF and the coloring on both the doll and the gown are wonderful. Her body has a good balanced weight and she hold a pose well. She is photographed nude, balanced without a stand. Minor hip split high inside the cavity has been repaired. Note the staining on her torso. What’s interesting is that the dye transfer came from the thread used to stitch the gown, and not the velvet. No staining visible on dressed doll. This further verifies that the doll is original to the gown. FACE: I LOVE THIS DOLL!!! Some dolls speak to me and this girl has a lot to say!! Infused face from 1957. This girl has all her original features with blush having been slightly enhanced to even out fading to get matching cheeks.. Lovely doll with skin tone nicely complementing her blonde wig. No yellowing to original sealant. EYES: All original lashes. Eyes are a soft blue. WIG: blonde up-do with original hair ties on pullbacks and top of head. Replaced corded tie at nape of neck. Wig has not been combed out. It has good shine, not dry. SLIP: Original slip with attached panties. Waistband redone with vintage lingerie elastic. GOWN: Spectacular vibrant bodice in a rich purple hue with original rhinestone snowflake pin. Unwashed velvet with good nap and excellent coloring. Note the detailed construction.
