Madame Alexander Dolls

Vintage 1955 Mme Alexander-Kins Wendy SLW Bride Doll w/Hang Tag. Scroll down for larger views. From a doll collectors estate, this is an Alexander-Kins or Wendy Doll. She is a straight leg walker, which were made only in 1955. She is 8” high, all jointed hard plastic. She has a pretty face with original paint and ivory coloring. Plus blue sleep eyes, molded lashes, ruby lips & blushed cheeks. She wears her brunette wig. Still in the original curled set. Her body is in very good condition, clean and bright. One leg walks with head slightly turning, the other leg needs to be adjusted. Wendy wears her original TAGGED’Alexander-kins’ ivory satin bridal gown w/tatted lace on the bodice. Also original panties, taffeta petticoat, and replaced shoes. On her head is her original tulle veil with a lace cap. The outfit is clean, & bright. Just one tiny light mark under the fold of her skirt. She is an appealing little doll that has been kept in a glass cabinet for many years. She also has her original paper hang tag (no string). Fabulous redhead in blue beach outfit w/hang tag & box. This Cissette is a stunning redhead with wonderful facial color to go with it. She is wearing a 1950s blue beach outfit and still retains the hang tag on her wrist. The photographs are her best description (the box has wear and the picture shows the worst section). Her blue print cotton outfit is crispy mint; however her hat and silver heels are not. She is as I got her in the box. Her heel and hat elastics have stretched, and the hat has a small hole by the metal piece. This hair color is so difficult to find, and she wears her original turquoise earrings.
