Madame Alexander Maggie Mix Up Doll, 14″, in Original Outfit, Red Hair 1961 Maggie Mix Up is a 14″ hard plastic and vinyl doll with straight red hair wig (although not quite straight in the back because of storage in the box and with a few fly-away hairs), working sleep eyes with lashes, full red lips, blush to her cheeks, and freckles. She is jointed at the elbows, knees, and ankles. She has all her pink fingernail polish. She is marked MME. /Alexander to her back. She has tight stringing and a clean body. Maggie is dressed for an afternoon out in a cotton tagged Maggie white blouse trimmed with ricrac and full light blue skirt trimmed with ribbons. Her blouse is a little surface dusty from age/storage, maybe a little less than as white as it should be but not bad. Her nylon slip is crisp and lace-trimmed. She wears blue tights and low slip-on shoes. There is a hat trimmed with flowers around part of the crown but seems to be a tad too small for Maggie’s comfort–it perches on top of her head. Maggie was made for only two years. She does come in the bottom only–no top–of her original age worn/faded box. I have not laundered the blouse or don’t anything to the doll. She is in very nice condition, no smells; she looks like she was never played with, just stored but lost the lid for the box somewhere in time. I will try to answer all questions, and provide more pictures if requested. Early if you can. If there is a problem with this, please let me know. While you are here.
