Here I have a 21 Madame Alexander doll Blue Bird Cissy. She is clean, and has no cracks, splits, or odors. She has thick full eyelashes and her eyes open and close as they should. She is wearing her original tagged Cissy lace dress with bluebirds embroidered around it. She has on her original blue satin shoes and her original satin underwear and lace under slip and nylons. She’s also wearing her pearl necklace. Cissy comes with her original shawl embroidered with blue birds and her beautiful original blue bird wide brim hat. Vintage 1940′s Madame Alexander Wendy Ann 21 Bridesmaid Doll. I believe she has the Wendy Ann face. This Bridesmaid is in very nice condition. She once had a crack on the side of her head (by her ears), but it has been professionally repaired and you cannot even tell it has ever been repaired that is how well it was done. The top layer of paint on her right leg has some deep crazing (shown) this is not a crack, just crazing of the top layer of paint. She is truly an exceptional doll. She has beautiful face color with bright blue eyes! She has very, very faint craze lines on her face. Her all original outfit is tagged Madame Alexander. Her dress appears to be very nice with no damage or stains, it has a few tiny pin size holes along the bottom, not noticeable unless searching for them. Her hair is in very nice condition with matching flowers. Overall, she is just lovely and even more stunning in person. F rom an Odor Free home. She wears NEW WHITE MESH HOSE with her ORIGINAL DARK PURPLE VELVETEEN SNAP SHOES with tiny violets on the toes! This Beauty has been meticulously cleaned and her original paint refreshed as needed. She had a CHEEK REPAIR DONE too necessitating added “blush” to her right cheek. This Little Lady is NOT MINT BUT STILL VERY MUCH A SWEETHEART! She has chosen a OOAK NEW MINI-ROSE PARCHMENT BOUQUET of lavender, yellow & pink hues. She wears a NEW MINI-RHINESTONE BRACELET! She has been on display in a place of honor in my SMOKE FREE, PET FREE DOLL ROOM protected from sunlight & temperature extremes. I told myself “this is one doll I will never part with” but here she is—listed for a short time. She begged me to be listed because her two best friends, shown in the photos with her, are currently listed—separately. This is a RARE vintage Madame Alexander composition Snow White doll which measures approximately 13 in height. The doll comes with the original box bottom only. The doll has a beautiful original wig with original face paint. There is some crackling of the eyes as shown. There are some compo cracks of the face but no compo lifting (please look at close up face photos). The lashes are full. The body is in remarkable condition with no cracks and no compo lifting. The stringing is tight. The doll has all fingers and toes. The clothing is tagged and is all original. There are no holes or stains and no fading. I’m not sure if the dress is missing some decoration but there are no holes. The doll has no unpleasant odors and is from a nonsmoking home. This is a remarkable RARE doll at an exceptional price. Offered here is a beautiful vintage 1940s Madame Alexander Margaret doll with the suntan body and complexion and her original blonde mohair wig with bangs and curls, and the original hair barrettes and large pink satin bow pinned in her hair. She stands 14 inches tall. She has her original cotton slip trimmed in vintage lace with attached panties, with pink bows and lace t. He leg elastic has stretched from age. This doll’s hair is a wonderful sunshine yellow blonde, with tiny curls across the back and framing her face. She has wavy blonde bangs and her original gold barrettes on both sides of her head at her temples. NOTE: A friend who is a doll expert told me that she believes this is the Princess Margaret doll made in 1948 or 1949, a little blonde with suntan body dressed in her original pink dress and slip and panties and shoes, only missing her apron from the original outfit. She is dressed in her original vintage very soft pink taffeta dress, with puffed sleeves trimmed in lace, a circular boat collar also edged in vintage ivory lace, and a pink satin ribbon tie around her waist. This vintage dress has a vintage soft white cotton slip and matching attached panties or bloomers, also edged in vintage lace. The panties have tiny pink bows sewn on them that match the pink ribbons in her mohair wig. She has her original black patent looking ankle strap shoes with their original tiny black bows on the toes and rayon anklet socks. She has a lovely vintage Madame Alexander pink sequin purse on a gold chain over her left arm; this little purse opens. On her left wrist there are a couple tiny lines in her doll finish, perhaps from where the purse chain rubbed. It is very minor but I did want to mention it. She has the gorgeous SUNTAN body finish and very rosy cheeks and rosebud red lips, wonderful blue green eyes and all her dark, full lashes, and painted light brown brows. NOTE: A previous owner has hand sewn the name’Mary Elaine’ on the little slip in blue embroidery thread. It can be turned to the back or left in the front. It is most likely the child’s name who owned this doll originally. This sweet little doll is all dressed up and ready for a wedding, for Church or for a special birthday party or afternoon tea! This doll has no “old doll” offensive odor and shows no sign of any sun fading. She has been kept in a display cabinet in a darkened doll room in my SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home. I take great care to wrap my dolls so that they do not move around in their boxes in transit.
