Very rare, coveted & gorgeous Cissette Margot Klondike Kate Madame Alexander 9 inch hard plastic doll. This rare Cissette is from the 1962 Madame Alexander Vintage Collection. Klondike Kate was the show girl of the period of the Alaskan gold rush boom. She was created as an exclusive edition for FAO Schwarz in 1962. She is a MARGOT Cissette – the Margot line was only in production for two years so she is a rare model. Klondike Kate’s features are a socket movable head, elaborate upswept hairdo, blue eye shadow, black eyeliner, rosebud pink lips, and nailpolish. She is wearing a 3 strand pearl necklace (one has a clasp). No earrings but has a diamond ring and rhinestone bracelet. Her nails are painted a pretty rose pink. She is wearing a red velvet fitted style dress, a trimmer with matching nylon tulle and swirly braid. Very much like Miss Kitty saloon girl singer from the Gunsmoke show, also popular in this early 60s era. The costume is tagged Madame Alexander New York & is in Lovely condition. 4 square shaped snaps. She is Alexander model 761, 1962. Her brunette hair in a fancy updo has 4 red feather plumes. She has black lace and ruffled panties and stockings. She has the MADAME ALEXANDER imprint on her back, this can be seen in the photo. She is shown on pg. Her face is exquisite. Her sleepy eyes work beautifully. Her legs are jointed just above the knee and her arms move as well in ball and socket fashion. Now to the flaws: one part of one finger on her right hand is missing and her torso became stained from the black panties over the decades. There are many many replacement parts for MA dolls – so I believe finding a new right arm and replacing it will be fairly easy. Miss Kate has the MA lady torso shape. You are looking at a 20″- 21″ Madame Alexander modern Cissy named “Cairo”. I bought her new from a store. When I first got her I changed her clothes and her long gold gloves left a small ring on the top of both of her arms. It hasn’t been a problem for me but maybe if she is dressed in something sleeveless it might bother you. I have had her stored in her box for years and I just dressed her in her original outfit for this listing. I never thought I would get rid of her but I have to downsize. She is a very beautiful and unique doll with her tan skin and blue eyes. Her outfit is awesome but I did get rid of the gloves. She will come to you in her original box with accessories and COA. Vintage Alexander Elise bride doll from the 1950s. Hard plastic with vinyl jointed arms. She measures approximately 16 inches tall. Veil headpiece shows wear consistent with age. Small split on the edge of the lace, as shown. Elastic on bloomers and slip stretched and pinned in place. Top snap of dress missing. Dress and veil have darkened with age. This is an all composition vintage marked 17 Madame Alexander Princess Elizabeth doll. This doll is in very good condition considering her age. Princess Elizabeth has markings on her head but the wig comes down too far to picture them. She is all original including the crown. The clothing is clean and odor free. Her human hair wig is full and the curls are good, a tiny bit messy though. Eyes are a bit slow to open and close. Comes with a stand. Please examine the photos, they. Vintage 1940s Margaret OBrien 18 HP Doll By Madame Alexander, Orig. This hard plastic doll is in excellent condition. She has soft brown hair in bundled braids with bangs. She has green glass sleepy eyes, painted lower lashes, single stroke brows, rosy cheeks and a closed rosebud mouth. She has a full set of real lashes and her eyes open and close as they should. She is dressed in her original untagged dress. It is a blue cotton short sleeved dress with a sheer white organza pinafore. Underneath she is wearing a netted tutu type petticoat, white eyelet trimmed panties, white socks and black shoes. Origin of the hat and shoes is uncertain if original. She is marked ALEXANDER on her head. She has all of her fingers on both hands. She has no visible marks, cracks or blemishes. Her finish is super. She can stand and balance independently. Doll is physically in great condition with all original joinings and mechanisms. However, her neck tilts to the left. Hair is in need of TLC, though it is quite full and does not appear to be missing much at all. Please view closeup photos of her wig cap. Her wig cap is securely intact against her head and isnt coming loose, however, there are spots where the wig cap is damaged. Doll cannot stand on her own. While all limbs are intact, her hip joints do not allow her to stand without a doll stand (not included). Dress has some sun fading on spots on sleeves, hem has come undone in one 5 spot on front right though it maintains its upward bend. Seam line tear on back of dress beneath snaps. Snaps are all snug and functioning. Beautiful doll with great bones and original dress, excellent for someone who can make her look shiny and new again!
