DOLL IS BEING USED AS A MODEL TO SHOW HOW THE GOWN AND ACCESSORIES LOOK ON A VINTAGE CISSY DOLL. It is #2172 from 1957. It has a wide circular skirt fully-lined in white taffeta and is tagged “CISSY”. Her pale blue velvet sash is caught at the waistline with a garland of roses. Gown and slip do not appear to have been laundered and both are in very nice condition… The gown still rustles with movement. There looks like there may be more of a blue color tone within some of the folds of the gown which happens over time with such a wide circular skirt. There is very minor wear at the bottom of the open sleeves. The velvet waistband is a dusty blue and shows minor age; however, the original vintage floral trim looks very nice. Gown and slip are not mint nor perfect but in very nice vintage displayed condition. Clothing has no offensive odors and my home is non-smoking with no inside pets.
