Pretty Vintage 1950s 20 Alexander Cissy Doll Brunette Nude. This is a vintage 1950s 20 Madame Alexander Cissy doll with brunette hair and blue eyes. Cissy has a nice condition body and gorgeous face. She is hard plastic with vinyl arms. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She has clear, blue sleep eyes with thick brush lashes, painted lower lashes, multi-stroke eyebrows, light cheek blush and pretty pouty lips. Her thick brunette wig is in loose curls around her face. She has has two small seam cracks in her upper thighs repaired – the rest of her joints are crack and repair free. MARKED: Alexander on the back of her head. Good played with condition. Nicely painted facial features: eyebrows, lashes, lips and cheek blush. Working, clear, sleep eyes with thick brush lashes – a few replaced lashes in the middle. Thick wig has original curls and style. Even skin tone with a few small soil marks and one leg is slightly lighter than the other. Good condition fingers and toes. Strung fairly tightly, arms can hold a pose. Her head is firmly attached and sits upright. Small thigh cracks have both been repaired. Other joints are not chipped or cracked. Plastic and vinyl are free of chips, cracks, bites, chews and seam splits. No knee or crotch seam splits. Her legs can bend at the hip and knee using care. Clean and odor free. Here is a very pretty 17 inch Margaret O’brien. She has all hair and eyelashes and her eyes will open and close as they should. She is all original except her panties. She has very light crazing all over. There is a little dent or a scuff at the tip of her nose. She has a tiny crack on her left hand that starts at her thumb and goes to almost all of her fingers. This is the only crack that I see on her. Her pinafore has a large hole in front. The tag on her dress is very faded and not legible. Both socks have small holes in them. Her shoes look worn on the soles. Her panties are sewed together at the waist by a previous owner so they dont come down. The edge of her hat has a little straw missing in 2 places. Her right pinky finger has some soil on it. This may be some glue residue of some sort. There could possibly be a repair there but its hard to tell for sure. We are a smoke free home. Here is a very pretty vintage 20 Madame. She has a mohair. All hair is present. She may be missing. An eyelash or two on her left eye but its hard. To tell for sure. Her eyes will open and close. Her composition is pretty. Clean but it is very faded. Back are closer to her original color. Her stringing is very good. She has light crazing all over. There are no cracks around her head. Tiny crack left shoulder, one on left breast. One in crotch, one on her butt, and. Inside both of her thighs all the way at the top. The very tip of her right big toe is chipped. Believe that her dress is original but the. Rest of her clothes are not. It doesnt match the dress so I dont know. Pinafore has a few tiny holes in front. Here is a very pretty Scarlett O’hara. She is 14 tall. Has a human hair wig. That all hair is present. Missing all eyelashes on her right. Eye and a few on her left eye. Stringing is in great shape. Back of her neck is marked MME. She has very little. Only a few crazes, here. She has a small crack. On the inside of each thigh, a chip on. Her right pinky finger, a large crack. Under her right ear and a tiny. Crack under her chin. That her clothes are all original. As you can see her. Coat is very faded in areas and. Has some small dirty spots. Snap on the front of her coat needs. To be sewn back on one side. Looks like her bonnet may be. Missing some flowers or something that. Used to be attached on the bill. Eyes will open and close a they. The pupils of her eyes. Have crazed and are cloudy. Of both of her shoes have some. We are a clean, smoke, pet. I do not offer. So, be sure to ask questions before. Here today is a vintage hard plastic/vinyl 20 inch Cissy doll and her tagged outfit made by Madame Alexander in 1957. Please look and all of the pictures to see Cissy’s issues that I will try and describe. Cissy has most of her original hair eyelashes but on one eye she is missing about 1/8th of an inch in the center. She has open and close blue/green eyes that work as they should, the whites of her eyes are white not yellow. Cissy’s face paint is very good with the exception of her blush is slightly orange but her painted lips are perfect. I don’t see any unwanted marks on her face. Cissy has some pinkish color transfer on her waistline and a tiny bit on a couple of chest areas. She has earring holes but no earrings. They do not have any green but it appears maybe someone or the factory put a little glue to possibly hold earrings on, but it does not hamper her ability to wear earrings because the holes are still open. Cissy has very nice blush on the back of her hands and knees. She has a beautiful brunette wig that is in excellent clean and shiny condition, it just needs a little style refreshing. In some of the pictures the wig looks like it has some missing hair near her ears but I don’t believe there is any missing, it just needs to be repositioned. Her joints are good with no cracks, no splits and no chews or missing vinyl, her legs bend as they should and her arms are great but her head needs a readjustment, it wobbles. Im uncertain if it was factory done or not but she has very nicely painted light light pink toenails. It barely shows unless you really look, it appears it was was professionally done. Other than the pinkish color transfer I don’t see any unwanted body marks. Cissy’s outfit is tagged on the lavender satin sheath dress that is in very good condition with no holes or tears, but needs a little ironing. All of the original snaps are intact. Unfortunately the matching wrap around skirt has faded or changed colors but otherwise in good condition with no holes or tears. Included are very nice Cissy black elastic strappy high heels. With just a little restoration Cissy could be a real stunner, even without it she is still a very beautiful doll. Thanks for taking a look and God Bless. I have looked this Dress over very well several times to make sure I describe it accurately. The only problems I see with the dress is the elastic in the sleeves is stretched and one tiny spot on the bodice. Please look at all. The pictures, they are part of the Description. Again, very pretty dress with pretty pink color flower, has green in it and very tiny little purple flowers. Closes with 3 (three) square snaps and the front inside of the bodice is lined.
