This is Scarlett O’Hara by Madame Alexander, circa 1940′s. She is all composition and stands approx. This doll is in very nice and original condition with original tagged clothing. Her wig is very nice with original barrettes. Her face is shiny and clean. There is light crazing on her face. Her eyes open and close and are cloudy. The eyelashes are uneven on both eyes and the right eye is missing some lashes (see photo). Her body and limbs are nice with no cracks, breaks or scuffs. There is very light crazing. Her upper right thigh has a deeper craze mark (see photo). She is well strung with no odors. Her original hat is faded and the lace on the back is torn. Her coat is lightly faded and missing two snaps on the front and there is a small stain on the front, otherwise very nice. On the inside, are a few scattered light stains. Her tagged dress is in good condition. There is a repair around the waist (see photo). There are a couple of small pinholes. Her slip is clean and in nice condition. Her pantaloons are nice and a little stretched out at the waist. I do not believe that her shoes are original. Really a nice Scarlett OHara. This is Scarlett O’Hara by Madame Alexander, circa 1940′s. She is all composition and stands approx. She comes complete with her original tagged gown and coat, slip with hoop, pantaloons, shoes, socks and hat. Her original wig is in very nice condition with original barrettes. Her face is shiny and clean. There is a very small pinpoint mark under her left eye, mentioned for accuracy. Her eyes are cloudy. She has full eyelashes. There is light and hard to see crazing here and there on her face. Her body is very nice with no cracks, rubs or chips. There is light crazing on her body and limbs. She comes with her original rare tagged coat and tagged dress. The jacket has light fading and three pinhead sized holes. One button has been re-sewn. Her dress is a little wrinkled and could use ironing. There are a couple of pinhead sized tone marks. There are three pinhead sized holes. Her slip is toned and some scattered foxing. The pantaloons are nice. They are stretched at the waist and have a couple of foxing spots. Her shoes are nice but missing some pieces on the very bottom of the soles (see photos). Her hat is nice. Her blue eyes open and close and she has full eyelashes. Her body and limbs are very nice and I see no crazing. No cracks or breaks. Her arms are a tag loose. She comes with her original tagged coat with hat, bloomers, shoes and socks. Her dress is nice. Hand-made for her and not original. The hat is nice with no problems. The coat is very nice. (7) pin sized holes. There are two snaps on each side of the coat missing. Her slip is very nice but not original. One snap on her shoe is missing.
