Princess Margaret Rose 1953 Coronation Beaux Arts 18 MA doll 2020B. The Beaux Arts series were created for one year only and for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. The Beaux Arts collection was a line of six exquisitely costumed 18 dolls to commemorate the occasion. Princess Margaret Rose #2020B is a stunning dark haired beauty wearing a very feminine gown of blush pink taffeta styled with puff sleeves, a deep décolletage and magenta velvet sash, decorated with iridescent sequins. The great flaring skirt of the gown has hooped petticoat beneath it, as do all all the Beaux Arts dolls. The Princess Margaret face always with blue eyes. We have her original tiara, gloves, two strand pearl necklace, one pearl teardrop earring, shoes, decotellage padding, and hoop slip/petticoat. She is missing her stockings and bracelets, but does have a non-original pearl bracelet. She is also missing one of her pearl teardrop earrings. Her hoop petticoat support is twisted from storage, but should be restorable. She is from a non-smoking home. We are pleased to present… “Prince Philip”, British Consort doll. And made for only one year. Is this, 18 tall, all hard plastic, signed. Consort to “Queen Elizabeth II”, doll with the. He is all original in his. He has a short brown. Perfect inset eyelashes as well as painted lower lashes, molded and painted eyebrows and a closed mouth, spread fingers. He wears a two-piece black morning tuxedo with taffeta lining and long lapels, long tails, strip on outside of each pant leg and flower boutonniere over stiff white shirt with collar and white tie, wide white cumberbund, “diamond” stud pin, original black socks and black leatherette shoes with flat heels and side snaps and fantastic, rare black satin top hat. He also has the attached pocket watch chains. See him on page 58. He is in excellent, unplayed with condition and has no cracks, splits or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no marks and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. His suit shows a bit of age which can be dry cleaned as it’s been in storage. No other dolls shown are included and will each be listed separately. All original and Gorgeous 1953 Beaux Art Queen Elizabeth coronation doll in excellent condition. This beauty is 18 inches and absolutely complete. Her hair is exquisite, her dress is divine and she comes with her fur cape and hat box. Her face coloring is bright and beautiful. She has all her jewelry and white fingerless gloves, and even her sash has all its jewels hard to find this doll this complete! Her gorgeous brocade dress is clean and crisp with no stains, odors, fading or tearing. Her hair is still perfectly placed in its original set and her finger curls are crisp and beautiful, molded around her elegant crown. Her facial painting is bright and perfect. Her blush is gorgeous! The only tiny imperfection I can find is some very slight fading on one eyebrow. She is wearing white fingerless gloves with her original bracelets–all jewels intact. She also has her original drop pear earrings and her jeweled blue sash. Take a close look at her sash, it has all its original jewels on it!!!! It’s hard to find this doll in this exquisite condition and so complete. She has on her original slip and shoes and comes with her soft white cape and black hat box.
