Bend Knee Walker (BKW) mechanism: working properly. Sleep eyes: working properly. Hair color: Blonde. Outfit & Accessories. Original red cotton dress with Alexander-kins tag. White apron and white hat included. Black button-strap shoes with fuzzy bottoms. Condition Notes. The shoes show light edge wear, with staining on the fuzzy bottoms. The white apron shows slight age-related dullness. Light red color transfer is present on the front of the chest, likely from the original red dress. This was observed only when the clothing was carefully removed during the photo session. The doll has been fully redressed. No attempt has been made to treat or remove the staining. Overall, the doll is in above-average condition for its age, with normal signs of wear consistent with a vintage item. Madame Alexander – 1968 EASTER DOLL 8 – VERY RARE – ONLY 300 MADE for a west coast special in 1968 only! She is a demure and adorable in a MA tagged yellow polished cotton dress with lace overlay at the bodice. Matching bonnet combines lace over cotton and ties with a yellow satin ribbon. Bendable knees and sleep eyes. Yellow flowers adorn the dress and bonnet. White ribbed tights, shoes and a slip complete her outfit. She wears her original wrist tag. She has great cheek color and lovely shoulder length long straight hair. She has been restrung and her dress cleaned. Vintage MA doll stand included. A wonderful rare doll! Smoke free pet free home. MADAME ALEXANDER-KINS 8 DOLL Bend Knee Walker WENDY & Trunk VINTAGE 1957. This Brunette Wendy is simply adorable and has those rare dark eyes and hair. There are no splits on this doll and her walker still works. Her clothing is in good shape but could use a little clean up as well as the doll. Her wig has a little spot on the back where it shows through, just due to how it was originally glued. Her outfit is original as shown in a photo of a reference book I own by Patricia Smith called, Madame Alexander Collector’s Dolls. She’s in pretty nice shape but could use a few touch ups. We offer for your consideration a gently displayed beauty of a 1950s bent leg walker Wendy face doll with lovely original triple stitched Tosca wig styled into her original and close to factory fresh condition. She enjoys easy open and close bright stunning eyes, mostly unfaded eyebrows, and high colored lips and cheeks. She is listed, as found, in a very displayable condition. She was a walker, but the walking mechanism no longer functions as it did originally. Her head and legs are well attached. Her arms are well connected, but perhaps she will need restringing someday. —Her molded eyelashes are intact and lovely. She does not hold a pose with her arms. She cannot stand without a doll stand. She is tagged Alexander-kins Meg. Her slip, dress, pinafore, bloomers, socks, and shoes are all clean, displayable and enjoy well attached buttons and stretchy elastic on the waist. Her panties no longer have stretchy elastic. The soft and, fuzzy bottom, to the shoes is beautiful with intact straps and buttons. —She is a doll free of odors, blemishes, issues, no major, or minor, splits to her plastic, and perfect little fingers and toes.
