It is trimmed with rickrack at the rounded nickline and also has 2 rows of rickrack at the hemline. It can be seen in Kiley Shaw’s “The Cissy Files” on p 84. It saws that there were an array of fabrics used in 1956 and that these dresses are either HTF or Rare and were Boxed Extras this year. This exact dress is prominently featured in the book. The color is a beautiful blue with little darker blue flowers. It is in very good, gently played with condition. The colors are bright and beautiful and there are no holes or stains and the fabric sits out beautifully. There was a repair on the center buttonhole (third buttonhole from the top), but this is not seen when the self-tie is tied over it. It is hard to see, even when the bow isn’t tied.
