Once again, the pictures tell the entire story… A near exact reproduction of Cissy’s elusive powder blue brocade cocktail dress… The magic wand was waved, and Cissy is saying Merry Christmas in gorgeous silver brocade (thanks to donnascreations4you,) accented with vintage velvet & organdy florals at both her dress waist and in her hair. This breathtaking ensemble snaps at the back with four square snaps. The matching slip, also an exact reproduction of the original, is hooped & made with silver taffeta with the required hard net lower half. She has silver panties to match, wears vintage hosiery & little silver sandals. Jewelry accents the velvet florals, and she adds a beautiful rhinestone-studded lucite bag. This is a 21 (approximately) Gorgeous Madame Alexander Cissy doll. She is from the 1950s. She is dressed in a very rare tagged red brocade dress with attached shawl and flower. She is in excellent condition with a few minor marks on the dress. Comes with correct netted red slip, panties, nylons and unstretched gold sandals. Her brunette hair is in original set and has curls at the back with red flowers on top. Her face paint is beautiful with full lashes top and bottom, good brows, rosey cheeks and red lips. Stringing seems good and she holds a pose. I had the jewelry made for her long ago by Joshards Originals. I have had her in my collection for a very long time. She is over 60 years old but doesnt look it. I have not collected dolls for a while so might have missed something important to you, so please ask questions. This is a vintage red brocade, 3/4 length gown with matching wrap and white flower at the waist. The wrap is sewn on at waist with a visible square snap and the flower is attached with a brass safety pin. 3 snap closure on the back. On the front left side of this dress, there is some light color/sun fade in the folds, shown in the images. The white lining has several stains, also shown in the images. Over all this dress is in good condition. There are no holes or tears. According to The Cissy Files book, this gown is listed as Hard to Find and from 1956.
