Vintage 1950′s Alexander 19 CISSY Doll Wearing a Chic Seamstress Made Yellow Three Piece Early 1960′s Style Suit. Very good condition 19 hard plastic, Madame Alexander Cissy doll. Arms and head are made of vinyl. Jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. Strung tightly – all joints work easily – especially the knees. Beautiful face with original painted features, working clear blue sleep eyes with thick repaired brush lashes. Painted lower lashes, two stroke eyebrows, light eye shadow, pouty lips and light cheek blush. Original auburn wig held under control with a hairnet. Wearing a lovely seamstress made three piece suit with 3/4 sleeves on the lined jacket, silky white blouse with attached, lined pencil skirt and flower decorated pill box hat. Pretty rhinestone pin on her jacket. Good played with condition. Free of major stains. Vinyl arms are free of rips – slightly darker in color. Perfect fingers and toes. Body is free of large stains or bites. One small crack on one hip and one small crack on one knee (both pictured). Facial paint is very good. Brush eyelashes appear to have been partially filled in. Wig is original but not in the original set and held in place with a hair net. Costume is newly made by a talented seamstress, fits perfectly, is lined, closes with many snaps in back and is in excellent condition. Shoes are held on with small vinyl band.
