Vintage Madame Alexander Beaux Arts Lady Churchill Doll. Produced in 1953 for the Beaux Arts collection #2020C. Her gown is a soft petal pink satin worn under an elegant formal coat of lightly brocaded satin of the same pink. The coat is ornamented with brilliant and bold rhinestones at the yolk. Her jeweled tiara is silver and she has her bracelet and rhinestone earrings. Lady Churchill has honey blonde hair pulled back and still has original hairnet too. She is carrying her matching pink satin purse and has a Margaret face with blue eyes. She stands 18 and is #2020C. This beautifully high colored face Madame Alexander is a Working Walker from 1953. The crown itself needs to be reattached, there is a piece in her hair that is part of the crown, please see photo. She does have a lazy eye, please see photos. But when I hold her by the waist and tap her feet from underneath the eye straightens out. But still can go back to being lazy. It does not distract from her gorgeous face beautiful hair spectacular grand studded coat and full skirt. Her diamond, LOL from the left ear needs to be glued back in. Her slip is great the hoop is around it should be. She has her original hat box (curlers & comb) , Crown, Earrings, coat, dress, nylons, panties, shoes. CHRISTMAS MADNESS SALE, HUGE REDUCTION, HURRY HURRY! Lady Churchill Dressed for Queen Elizabeth I I Coronation. Her body is in excellent condition. I will upload two pictures of her undressed later. Her dress is superb and her coat has all its Rhinestones. There is some staining along on the length, but its in the billowing folds and truly I never see. Where the coat is folded back (camera right), theres another tiny stain, but again hidden by the factory intended flap. Her face is a vision and no repaint. Such gorgeous blue eyes on a beautiful Margaret face. One spoke of her tiara has broken off, but DOES NOT effect it standing upright. The fabric is gorgeous silk satin and is exactly as the pictures. Lady Churchill is a walker. I believe she is all original. Dress has some marks. Loop on skirt bottom is twisted-was hoping new owner will be able to repair. She has been in storage for many years.
