This is the 20-21 Cissy by Madame Alexander. She is coming to you in a handmade lingerie suit (not pictured). She does not have earring holes but with her very fulll wig you can rarely get a glimpse of her ear lobes. I warn you, Cissy can be addictive, at least she is for me, I love them! This Cissy is one I got from Susan Wells Roberts (Pearlsgirls). I totally trust that Susan has given the thorough gone over with the Cissy’s, she is absolutely amazing with them. Susan is another master at restoration when it comes to these dolls. This Cissy has an excellent body. I have trouble getting her left leg bent all the way at the knee. It bends about half way for me. I have shown in my pictures that Cissy has a few marks on the neck. You really can’t notice it especially if wearing pearls. Her face is sealed with a matte sealer, not done by me, came this way to me. She has beautiful blush and a tremendously thick wig. The more I look at it, I believe the torso has had a bit of applied body makeup in an attempt to cover the scratch marks on her neck. I haven’t done anything to her, only enjoyed displaying her. She has the sweetest face!! Cissy has beautiful clear eyes that are nicely set. Eyes that are not both focused on the same thing is one thing that drives me crazy if my dolls have it and this girl has beautifully set eyes. The stand is not included. Here is an early painted Cissy doll with great original coloring. Her only real need is to have the curls put back in her blonde wig. She has gorgeous blue eyes, all of her brush lashes, and her skin tone is even. She has no tears to her vinyl arms and no splits in her hard plastic. She has original blush on her hands, knees and cheeks. Her sleep eyes open and close, and her joints all work well. She has rubs on her eyelids, but when open are not seen. There is a strange spot on the left side of her torso near the buttocks where it looks like something plastic or something of the same color as the hard plastic was dabbed. I have no idea what that is, but she had it when I got her. Her arms are strung well. She has the typical light rubs at the tops of her legs. Her head will bob when moved, but is poseable and stable, I believe. Her wig is nice and full and shiny, but is lacking its original curl. I just don’t have time to work on the hairdos any more. She will be a nice display doll once the hair is put in order. Cissy will come to you in an oversized pink terry cloth bathrobe (see last picture). Smoke-free home and offered to USA BUYERS ONLY.
