We are pleased to present… “Queen Elizabeth” II, British Coronation doll. E II R Absolutely beautiful, hard plastic, (and vinyl over-sleeve arms) 21 inch tall , Cissy, “Queen Elizabeth” coronation portrait doll , circa 1950s, (#2281) by Madame Alexander is getting quite difficult to find. She has beautiful, light brown hair in the original set with thick curls and has lovely blue, clear sleep eyes, perfect eyelashes, closed mouth and pierced ears. Her hard plastic body has the vinyl over-sleeve arms with joints at the elbows, shoulders, hips and knees as well as high-heel shaped feet and pink touches to knees. She wears her tagged: Cissy/Madame Alexander, long gold brocade , taffeta lined, Court gown with bustle train back, attached, “Order of the Garter” long blue sash with rhinestones, studded stones and pearls as well as her original lace trimmed taffeta panties, seamed long nylon stockings , satin high-heeled shoes, long gloves and three original, stone studded bracelets and original ring. She needs petticoat and earrings. She wears a silver and rhinestone (replaced) crown similar to the one on page 53, Mme. Alexander Dolls 3rd edition-Mandeville. Her gown is crisp and clean although it shows a few age stains which can be dry cleaned as it’s been in storage. She has no cracks or breaks, no missing eyelashes, no fading or other marks and no odors as she is from a smoke free home. “Prince Philip” doll is not included and will be listed separately. If you have one Queen in your collection, she doesn’t get any more regal than this! This is a very hard to find vintage Madame Alexander Cissy Queen Elizabeth Coronation doll circa 1957. She has a special side part tosca wig that is only found on this doll! She is in wonderful condition and has just been refreshed at Cissy’s Secret Spa, including restringing and blush. Her hair is in its original set. Her coloring is excellent, with original blushing at hands and knees. She has original full lashes and her green eyes open and close with ease. Her stunning gold brocade, tagged, gown is fabulous and correct for this doll! She has the rare slip that was only featured for this gown as well. She has her original panties, stockings and shoes, although the elasticity is showing age as to be expected. Amazingly, she still dons her original gauntlets, bracelets, and precious crown. I’ll include a little lucite purse I made especially for the Queen. The only issue I can find is that she has a slight pinkishness around her waist, but it’s really minor. She’s very clean and free of splits and cracks. Just a beautiful, hard to find doll! My dolls are vintage and therefore not perfect and they may show signs of age. All Cissy’s Secret items are from a non smoking, spotless studio. Props are not included. Madame Alexander 1950s vintage 20 21 Cissy doll in Queen Elizabeth Gown. Please look at pictures for condition. Her gown has one small tear at the front of the dress (see last picture). The snaps on the back work fine. The blue side sash is nicely attached to the mid-bodice of her dress but does have some discoloration (see pictures), and her glove (one glove only) has a couple of stains. She has both pantyhose, but there are a couple of snags/runs, and a small hole. She also has both shoes, but the elastic doesn’t hold anymore. All her joints are working fine. She does have one scratch/line on one of her inner legs (NOT cracked or broken). Vintage 1937 Madame Alexander Princess Elizabeth. This lovely doll was cherished by me for many years & well cared for. She has tin eyes, human hair eyelashes & human hair wig. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders & hips & is tightly strung. She has absolutely No Crazing! She has never been retouched or repaired. She still wears her original hair ribbons, onesie, tagged apron, socks & oilcloth shoes. I have added a vintage hat from that time period. She does show some wear at her joints from posing. There is a tiny nick to her right pink (tiny part of pinky nail was chipped). Hard to find this beautiful doll in this condition! SMOKE & PET-FREE HOME (no odors).
