1951 Madame Alexander Little Women MARMIE with original J. Hudson box, Detroit, Michigan with receipt and price tag. I’ve been told doll was shown in the FAO Schwartz catalog and the Alexander Doll Company Catalog, also told that department stores repackaged items in their own boxes back in the day, hence the J. Hudson box and receipt (see photos). Doll is in excellent condition, face coloring is excellent, looks like it has never been out of the box, with the exception of one of the black bows on one of her shoes is missing. Doll has original gold wristband that says, FASHION ACADEMY AWARD on one side and FASHION ACADEMY AWARD, MME.
