Welcome to my auctions! Cissy is 20 tall with hard plastic body and soft vinyl jointed arms.. She has a deep brunette wig, pulled back into a cluster of curls with 2 two small curls on her forehead. She is an infused doll with high cheek color, one stroke brows, full lashes, green eyes and red mouth. Her outfit is rare to find. It consists of a crisp gold lace skirt, with red flower corsage on side of waist, green jersey top, gold belt, and rhinestone pin. Under the skirt is a crisp yellow half slip with tulle ruffle and yellow panties. She wears full long nylon stockings and has gold high heels with red velvet flowers. Three things I have to mention. She came to me without a belt, so I made one for her. Her shoes are reproduction, but I have her original shoes and will send them with her. The elastic was loose, so that is why I replaced them. Also the blouse she is wearing is different from most Cissy tops. The closure in back is different too and old bias tape was used on the inside of the blouse. I presume it is correct. I got the doll from the original owner years ago and presume she is factory original. I have nothing to compare her to, as this outfit is seldom seen. She has no cracks, rubs, odors and is in unplayed with condition. Her outfit is pictured in Kiley Shaw’s Rarities and Restoration book page 82. From smoke free home. The item “RARE MADAME ALEXANDER INFUSED BRUNETTE CISSY DOLL-GOLD SKIRT, JERSEY TOP 1959″ is in sale since Tuesday, October 26, 2021. This item is in the category “Dolls & Bears\Dolls, Clothing & Accessories\Dolls & Doll Playsets”. The seller is “in2dolls” and is located in Simi Valley, California. The doll is pictured on page #45 of the book Cissy R. There are no splits or cracks on the doll. She has lovely original coloring no spa treatments or touch ups. The doll has clear blue eyes, full original eye lashes, ruby red lips, rosy cheeks, and a gorgeous brunette wig in the original set. In addition to the “Yachting Ensemble” she will also arrive wearing her original faux diamond solitaire earrings, red Cissy shoes, a faux ruby ring, new navy blue velvet ribbon in her hair, and she carries French depose white sunglasses. There are no holes rips or tears to Cissy’s clothes. The elastic on the waist of the pants has relaxed as you can see in the last photo. The halter top is exceptionally nice. It is usually found with frayed lining, the lining on this top is minty. The tag on the jacket is excellent no sign of ever being washed. The emblem on the jacket shows some wear and missing beads which is often seen, very often the emblem is missing altogether. She is a very clean doll and would be a wonderful addition to any collection especially in this very special outfit. The pictures are the main description. Please examine them and ask questions. Thank you for looking and have a wonderful Cissy filled day. The item “Vintage Infused Madame Alexander Cissy Doll VHTF Yachting Ensemble Minty 1958″ is in sale since Wednesday, October 20, 2021. Beautiful Cissy in her undies ready to dress… I try to note everything – all positives and negatives – so you can make an informed purchasing decision. I know you cannot examine her for yourself, and while I do not claim to be an expert, I will carefully note everything to the best of my knowledge and ability. I believe this doll is what is known as an infused Cissy which prevents her vinyl from losing color over time. Her body coloring is very fresh and healthy all over. The photos washed out how fresh and peachy she is. I do not know for certain if she is infused, that is just my best guess due to how beautiful her coloring is all over. Take this with a grain if salt, and if you know more in this area, please see the photos and examine her carefully. Beautiful clear eyes, open and close easily. They need to be replaced. I just dont have time. No cracks, splits, discoloration, mold, mildew, odors, etc. Her tagged chemise is in wonderful crispy condition. Her nylons have aged a little and have a small hole near the top of one. Her pretty shoes shoes are in great condition but the elastic has stretched some. Her golden Saran wig is in close to its original set. I believe that is a replaced hair ribbon. This is a beautiful doll in beautiful overall condition! With some new lashes, shell be perfect! An infused doll means the body color was “infused” into the plastic, not painted on as the earlier Cissys were. This doll head is shown alone and on a body, but this sale is for just the head. The head is clean and has no odors, stains, cracks. The wig has been cleaned and retains its original curls. The sides have been tied back and a new spanner bar installed. The curls will need a bit more styling. The face has had blush added and a sealer applied. The eyes have full original lashes. The head does have earring holes. Earrings are original pearl Cissy earrings that have lost their “pearl” coating. The head has the attachment hook inside. I do not photoshop or alter my pictures in any way. No smoke and mirrors, what you see is exactly what she is. Pictures are part of the description. The item “Madame Alexander 20 1950s infused Cissy doll head” is in sale since Sunday, March 14, 2021. &####127864; Cissy relaxes with a Cosmo after a long day at the office. &####127864; If you’ve searched for the elusive secretary to add to your collection, this one is very sweet. She’s very hard to find in this condition. Her rich golden blonde hair is the iconic Cissy bob with spit curl bangs, that epitomized the working girl. Her sparkly, clear eyes are mostly still blue and the whites have not yellowed. Her creamy complexion, with high color blush, eye shadow, and satiny red lips, is to die for!!! She’s an infused face, which many collectors prefer as it has a certain translucence that’s hard to match. Her stringing is perfect for posing beautifully in any outfit you desire. She can even stand by herself if you balance her just right! Her arm and body color still match beautifully, so she can wear those revealing outfits without a problem. She’ll come to you in her original secretary outfit, consisting of a white organdy pin tucked blouse trimmed with Valenciennes lace, black felt jacket and circle skirt, who’s elastic is unstretched. Underneath she wears a batiste slip and original panties. Her thigh high stockings are a really fine replacement. Her original black high heeled sandals are a bit stretched as is so often the case. Oh, and let’s not forget her flirty little hat!!! It’s original, and in my opinion the pièce de ré·sis·tance of the whole outfit. It’s very hard to find. She will come with her original black hat box. It will need a new cord. She’s free of splits, cracks, and mold. That being said, she’s vintage 1957, so please don’t expect perfection at her age… She will show signs of age and wear. She comes from my spotless, not smoking studio.
