1950′s Vintage Madame Alexander Elise GOLD Ballerina 16 Jointed Doll. This girl is beautiful! Eyes are clear and sleep well! All joints work with no cracks or damage. Face coloring is a bit dark but not as sever in person as it is showing in my photos. Headband and hair is wonderful. Outfit is free from holes/tears. Stockings are stretched on top but are staying up. Gold ballet slippers need new laces but otherwise are nice without large flaking or peeling.

I added a little crown, fixed her hair back to original style. Re-strung her head and arms. Legs are nice and tight. A few small holes in her stockings. Her joints work nicely. Her eyes are glassy and she has full eyelashes. She’s all fresh and needs a new home. No box, no stand.

Made by Madame Alexander in 1951, this is Madelaine. She is a lucky girl that comes with a wardrobe as seen in the pictures. She stands 16 tall and is made of vinyl and hard plastic. Her body is unique and appears to be “ball” jointed. She is wearing her original pink satin slip that is tagged with matching undies, and a pink bow in her hair that has the original set. Her hair could use a touch up on her curls in the back but seems to be full and good other than that. She wears her original shoes and socks as well. She also comes with a pink satin party dress tagged “Madame Alexander 16″ doll. Included are printed top and red shorts, flower dress, green corduroy coat with scarf, handbag and hat, and long nightgown. (There is some staining on the back of the gown) She is really a beauty in nice condition for her age. Please look at the pictures closely and ask questions if needed. The stand is not included. She is a real sweetheart looking for a good home.

EYES OPEN AND CLOSE AS THEY SHOULD 90% OF THE TIME, NEED A LITTLE SHAKE TO OPEN THEM ON OCCAISION. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL AND IN GREAT SHAPE GIVEN HER AGE. SHE IS HARDER TO FIND ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION. UNFORTUNATELY SHE HAS LOST HER SLIPPERS. ZOOM IN TO APPRECIATE THE DETAILS.

Vtg 1950′s Madame Alexander ELISE 15 Doll Hard Plastic w Jointed Vinyl Body. Doll is in nice clean working condition. She has not been restrung and still has her original band inside arms. Her eyes are nice and bright with full lashes. She has a light complexion with nice face paint. Her joints are good. It does take a bit of gentle pressure to put her in a sitting position. I put the right leg in first then the left leg goes more easily. Other than that, she will need a doll stand to display. Her outfit is not tagged and is a beautiful sea blue green color. It appears to be made of organdy where her slip is made of satin. I’ve replaced her nylons and shoes. She comes with a nice faux white shawl. She is a very nice doll.
